We stayed at the Tribe for a week for our visit to Lyon and were very happy with it. The staff was extremely kind and friendly and went out of their way for any requests we had. If you're staying in the Croix-Rousse area, this is a great place to stay.
訪訪客Location was great! Right in the heart of everything. You need to buzz up for the lift which always stopped at reception before going to your designated floor. You had to get water from reception too. Small rooms but very accessible and right by the subway.
EE9422NCwilliamsWe were expecting the same Sofitel standards as the Heathrow one but were very disappointed.Nice location, central to the old city and by the river.Room needs renovating.Drab and ordinary, certainly not the luxury one would expect from the huge prices. Only one of three elevators were working. There was no coffee availability at 7 a.m.
Very old and dirty place. Mainly in the elevators and corridors Not for value Not enough space for parking Staff not friendly I have been there for business. The only good thing is the breakfast. Very good offer as fresh fruit, dried fruits, yogurt eggs etc
訪訪客I booked a Premium room, advertised as recently renovated. It didn’t feel like that. It had stains on walls and some mould in the shower’s lower corners. Also it was a ground floor facing the street. It felt awkward to watch pedestrians and cars passing by a few meters away. Asked for a room change and was told none was available since in all upper floors AC/heating did not work.
Hhappyfrog2018Large, spacious room with separate kitchen and walk in wardrobe. The bed was very comfortable. Parking was available at a reasonable daily rate (very few hotels offer parking). The reasonably priced buffet breakfast was replenished regularly with fresh food. The location offers great views over the city but is only a short walk downhill to the metro and city.
