Upon arrival at this motel, I was informed that I would be paying a $200 surcharge because I lived 30 miles away and was considered a local customer. For a community that constantly begs for the community to support local and shop local, I felt this was very inappropriate. They advertise a complimentary breakfast which turned out to be fruitloops and oatmeal packets.

Thrilled with the rustic pine furnishings, large room, secluded setting, quiet, in-room convenience/room arrangement & furnishings.
Would like to have had a reserved parking spot close to our room. Had to park a ways away & walk to the room.

What we really liked was that we could back right up to our door and keep an eye on the stuff in the back of our pickup. Had no real fear it would be messed with because we felt it was very secure where we were at.
