We were very disappointed in this Ramada. It was undergoing major renovations and only part of the hotel was open. We had issues with our room. There was no closet or place to hang coats and or clothing. You couldn't plug anything into the GFI outlet in the bathroom because the plugs wouldn't fit not sure if they were installed correctly. This was a handicap unit so the walk-in shower had something like a ramp so a wheelchair could access the shower, trouble was when the shower ran the water went over the ramp and onto the floor making a mess and an unsafe condition. Also, the water in the shower was either cold or scalding hot. The toilet seat was installed incorrectly it was not centered over the toilet it was off to the side. We spoke to the desk clerk and she sent out the maintenance person who said she would have the project manager look at our room, we never heard anything from anyone and none of the problems were taken care. Also, you had to walk outside to get to the front lobby as hallways were blocked due to construction.
Our room did not seem like it was ready to be rented. One employee did send us over a luggage cart with hangers that was put in our room and we used it to hang our clothes. This property was an old Holiday Inn that had been vacant for many years and was being done over as a Ramada Inn. This hotel should not have opened until all the renovations were complete.
I will not go back to this hotel again; they did nothing to fix the issues.
