貝克溪山莊度假村(Baker Creek by Basecamp)

A lovely room in a winter wonderland and located in a stunning part of the Rockies. The reason for the rating is the extremely disappointing and surprisingly condescending service - not at all what you’d expect from a resort at this price point and unlike I’ve ever experienced in 20 years of travel. My partner and I were wrongfully accused of smoking in the unit and our deposit was withheld. We frequent Banff establishments and are well aware of the park bylaws. We are always sure to review company policies in advance to ensure we are compliant and considerate. My partner smoked in our vehicle and disposed of the butts before we checked out - disposing of trash in the receptacle provided should be added to their policy. It was three weeks before the General Manager finally got back to us and based on our correspondence and her replies to other guests’ poor reviews, I’ll expect an arrogant response to my honest feedback here :) I suggest visiting Castle Mountain Chalets for a similar location at a much better value, Emerald Lake Lodge for spectacular views and a sense of exclusivity, and Mount Engadine Lodge for genuine and comforting hospitality - these options truly go above and beyond for their guests and provide remarkable value in your experience. Needless to say, we will not visit Baker Creek or Basecamp Resorts again.

This is a very comfortable lodge with no TV as there's so much to do outdoors. Without a dining hall our meals were either self prepared in our fully equipped accommodation or we headed in to restaurants in Lake Louise. For my birthday the lodge prepared and delivered a lovely package of items requested by my daughter.

Very friendly check in staff. Upgraded upon check in for a decent price. Older cabins, however well maintained and comfortable. Great wood burning fire pit. Apparently there is a steam and sauna, but we did not use it. No on site food options unfortunately. Closest is Lake Louise (also limited) and then Banff. Creek nearby and outdoor fire pits a plus

Beautiful location, our cabin was right along the river (although it was snow and frozen). Lots of great extra unexpected amenities (fat bike tire, ice skates). The cabin itself was so cute, fireplace, couch. Was a great stay!

No wifi and not able to call out from our cabin. No tv, very small, no hot water in bathroom sink. Kitchen furniture old and dirty. Had to call maintenance to fix tap and attic door that wouldn't close.
