Didn’t stay. Had a change of plans last minute due to hubby getting sick. Understandably can’t get refund or change of date but customer service, not one but two staff were quite rude in their approach. Especially the first lady I spoke with on the phone.

The staffs are very helpful start from reception to breakfast venue. The breakfast is stunning.

The room was large, clean and well equipped. Unfortunately on arrival found the lift was unserviceable and had to access the second floor room by the firecstairs. Was very difficult for mobility impaired people and would be impossible if needed assistance. Resturant standard was good but is on the expensive side for a hotel. Service was quite slow and the overall impression is there was a shortage of staff. Not receiving notice that the lift was u/s and the problems this created detracted from the visit.

Elevator not working - this advice offered after reservation made. Refund only possible from Wotif/ ******* - hotel staff had a “not our problem” attitude. My wife has a bad back and is asthmatic. I suppose I should be grateful our room on second floor and not the fourth??
Room was clean and comfortable.

For an elderly couple the elevator was not working and their was no customer recovery. An offer of a voucher to the restaurant would have beeb good management, but there wasn't.
