Roaches in room, we asked for a refund and we were told no by manager, then by owner. They only offered a different room. Will never stay here again

Great stay!

I came into the hotel looking for a FEMA room. It was a madhouse because everyone was looking for a room at the time. Mr. Patel took his time to not only secure me a room but also to handle all the paperwork. He was nice and knowledgeable and had a way of putting me at ease. He not only secured me a room he showed me the room to asure that that would fit my needs. I highly suggest this hotel. It is an older hotel but a very well functioning hotel kept very clean with a view of the water. I highly recommend this hotel as well as Mr. Patel for his beyond the call of duty integrity. Thank you Mr. Patel.

Recently renovated under new ownership, very Clean & comfortable, spacious room, friendly staff at the frond desk, all the needed amenities are in the room. Quite affordable room rate with choice privilege points.

We used this as a stopover between Houston and New Orleans to break the trip up. Lovely and clean as well as very quiet. Our first room we were given, the TV didn't work. We were quickly transferred by staff to another room. Too easy. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Loads of eateries nearby, as well as shopping. Would stay here again if on the same route.

Lake Charles Quality Inn. When you first walk in very clean lobby and small breakfast nook for the guests. Continental breakfast consists of sausage eggs biscuits and gravy cereal milk oj toast danish and toast or waffles. Very affordable price. Room was very spacious clean comfortable and relaxing. Would recommend to anyone.

The location and access was good for my needs. Near I-210 loop. The price was right considering other hotels were much more. The room was clean. The breakfast was hot with enough variety. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Upon arrival to the hotel at approximately 10pm, the front desk clerk did not check my ID, which I am sure was against protocol. He was friendly but very flustered & was complaining that it had already "been a night." We were there for a youth baseball tournament. There was suspicious behavior (*****, alcohol, ***********) on the premises. Four cop cars arrived at the hotel and escorted individuals out of their room. Don't be fooled by the "renovation." The rooms were musty smelling; gum & unidentifiable dried stuff on the walls; rust on the lamps. Bed extremely uncomfortable. The carpet in the halls was not clean. Myself, nor my child, did not sleep well due to fear of something bad happening or my car getting broken into. I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE FOR YOUR SAFETY AND SANITY!

One out of 5, if I could do zero I would. Roach infested, almost everything broken in breakfast area, dirty, stains on walls and bedding, missing curtains, and surprise charges. Choice hotel customer relations no help at all. Don’t go here!

This is not a review praising this property , it is however one of the nastiest hotels I’ve ever stayed at , very poor service, breakfast nasty , they leave the he bread out all day in display, flies were actually in the display, nothing fresh. The carpet was so dirty you actually cannot tell what colour it was when installed I’m guessing 20 years ago, onward up the stairs you run into the stale smell of nasty, repairs that are half done , partially paint walls and repairs , this didn’t change in the month I was here, on to the room, some cheap attempt to remodel the room with laminate flooring , which is fine , but it wasn’t clean , there was a picture I’m assuming that was on the wall at one time , that was ripped off and the holes are still there no attempt to fix or reinstall, I had to ask the front desk to clean out the fridge of food that was left behind from previous guest, at the time of check in I stated and asked the the room be serviced every other day , and I was told that wasn’t a problem , not until it didn’t happen! I came back from working one evening to find my bed stripped of its bedding and laying on the floor, I asked for it to be made , they did send someone who tried to make a terrible attempt to make the bed , with the bedding and sheets that were on the floor , how gross! And really a 2 year old could have did a better job. This was the final straw of staying in this property. So if you want to stay here you go ahead , set your sights well below anything you’ve come to know with Quality Inn / choice rewards, even when I made complains to cooperate, they seemed less interested , and offered a whopping 8000 points , I had to deal with a different person each and every email , not just one person , I’m not sure what has happened to customer service but there doesn’t seem to be any here.
