寧靜鄉村飯店(Hotel El Silencio del Campo)

Bien, pero puede mejorar. En mi opinión el hotel es demasiado caro para lo que ofrece. Las albercas son demasiado calientes. Es casi imposible pasar más de 5 minutos dentro. Y creo que no fui sólo yo la que pensó así. La mayoría del tiempo estaban vacías y los huéspedes en los camastros. A la mañana siguiente las llenaron alrededor de las 7-8 am y estaban peor. Ok, dentro de la habitación hay un jacuzzi que puedes regular a tu gusto, pero la idea de ir a La Fortuna de San Carlos es disfrutar las aguas termales. Si no puedes hacerlo pues es un gasto innecesario porque realmente es bastante cara la estancia. Mejor rentar algo más económico e ir a hacer senderismo al volcán. Tabacón ofrece un mejor servicio pero también han elevado demasiado el precio. Las instalaciones de el silencio del campo están bonitas, el personal es amable y la habitación es muy cómoda. El desayuno es de buena calidad. Pero no creo que volviera a hospedarme aquí.

We had such a wonderful time at Hotel El Silencio del Campo, it's such a special place! We had a beautiful view of the Arenal Volcano, the various thermal hot springs were wonderful, it sometimes felt like we had exclusive use of some of the pools. Pickup and dropoff from various day trips was easy and staff was very helpful in coordinating, plus all of the farm animals were so much fun! We have a 6-year-old child, so this was such a perfect place for our family to stay. It's a smaller resort, so it felt like a very safe and intimate environment. My daughter got to help gather eggs and ride one of the ponies, Taffi. She also loved seeing their pig, Bella, meandering around the hotel grounds. The hotel restaurant had a changing menu for dinner, which was nice for the variety, and they have a little pool with fish in it that kept our daughter nicely occupied while we waited for our meal. Every member of the staff was incredibly hospitable and friendly. And as visitors from Northern California, we were appreciative that the air conditioning units in the rooms were very efficient in this hot, humid climate! I would love to come back here for another visit someday. So many beautiful memories!

Cute little rooms. Food was tasty. Loved the farm and farm animals and love that we were able to interact with them. Nice to know that our vegetables & milk eggs and cheese were fresh from the farm. The hot springs were nice & relaxing. It was so cute that they feed the birds as well. Overall we had a wonderful time and wish we could if stayed longer. The communication from the staff was on point, they helped me book my zip lining adventure. The staff was super friendly as well.

This place exceeded our expectations in every way!! The pictures posted online do NOT do this place justice. It is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the family chalet because we are a family of 4 with two teenage boys. The room was so spacious for us and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the large patio where we could see the Arenal volcano. We loved walking through the farm to see all of the animals and where they get the food and eggs for meals. Having daily visits from Muchacho (roaming pig) was such a treat. The hot springs were AMAZING. So much better than we were expecting with so many different pools tucked away down little paths. Before we got here I had plans to take hikes to hot springs or to pay for visit another nearby resort. But once we checked out the hot springs on the property no one wanted to go anywhere else. They are AMAZING. The bar/food was great and right in the middle of the pool and gardens. It was truly magical at night. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was great and easy to get an Uber in the La Fortuna when we wanted to have dinner in town. This was our favorite place to stay during our trip to several cities in Costa Rica.

On a beaucoup aimé l'endroit, la vue, la villa, les sources d'eau chaude et la ferme sur les lieux. Un très beau séjour. Très bon déjeuner inclus.

When we arrived the air in our room was off; it was relatively late in the day - 6PM local time and it was no less than 90 degrees F in the room. It took through the night for the AC to cool down the room; I don't think it was running optimally and I was very concerned about our 2 year old being overheated. It was very off putting and had the hotel turned it on even somewhat in advance of our stay we would have had a much better initial impression. Otherwise, we did love the farm setting and beautifully landscaped grounds. The room was comfortably sized for 2 adults and 2 kids. The pool was perfect entertainment and proximity to Fortuna excellent. Breakfast not great but nice to have on site. We would recommend this hotel but with the caveats stated in this review.

My son and I are traveling through Costa Rica on our own for his high school graduation trip. The concierge helped us choose the perfect sloth tour. The grounds and staff were incredible. The farm to table menu was good. We wished that we had time to extend our stay!

This hotel is absolutely incredible! Great staff, beautiful setting, wonderful restaurant and lovely hot springs and pool. My only regret is that we aren’t staying here longer. We LOVE this place and will definitely come back.
