Τέλεια θέση στην παλιά πόλη της Κρακοβίας, μια ανάσα από την πανέμορφη κεντιρκή πλατεία, κοντά σε εστιατόρια κ.λ.π. Ιστορικό κτήριο, πρόσφατα ανακαινισμένο! Άνετα δωμάτια, πλούσιο πρωινό, μεγάλη πισίνα και σπα... Το προσωπικό, αν και πολύ ευγενικό, δεν ήταν πολύ αποτελεσματικό σε κάποια προβλήματα που δημιουργήθηκαν κατά τη διαμονή μας. Αυτό θα πρέπει να βελτιωθεί, ιδιαίτερα για ένα ξενοδοχείο τόσο υψηλού επιπέδου! Το ξενοδοχείο οργάνωσε για μας μεταφορές από και προς αεροδρόμιο και δύο εκδρομές. Τα κλείσαμε πάνω από ένα μήνα πριν με ξεκάθαρη επιβεβαίωση πληρωμής με πιστωτική κάρτα, αλλά κατά την παραλαβή από το αεροδρόμιο ο οδηγός δεν είχε μηχάνημα και ψάχναμε μετρητά. Αυτό ήταν λάθος της εταιρείας που συνεργάζεται με το ξενοδοχείο, και στις επόμενες μεταφορές διορθώθηκε. Όμως η ώρα αναχώρησης για Auschwitz που ήταν για τις 10:00 δεν τηρήθηκε, καθυστερήσαμε μισή ώρα! Επίσης υπήρξαν διάφορες ανεξήγητες χρεώσεις στην κάρτα μας από το ξενοδοχείο που μας ανησύχησαν και το προσωπικό δεν μπορούσε να λύσει το θέμα άμεσα. Αυτό μάς χάλασε λίγο τη διάθεση. Λύθηκε στο τέλος (ελπίζω, δεν έχω δει τις οριστικές χρεώσεις ακόμα). Θέλει περισσότερη προσοχή!

Didn’t check my boxes for a business trip and it doesn’t worth what I’ve paid. Very disappointing welcome service, staff not so nice, restaurant was very poor, tv service is horrible, bed and working facilities. I don’t understand why the rate is so expensive…

Spacious studio apartment with great facilities including fridge, hob, glasses, and plenty of storage. Double bed was comfy, and was one big double mattress which we liked - some hotels do two single mattresses which we never like as we always find ourselves falling through the gap! But on the double bed it was 2 single duvets rather than 1 big double - which I’d have preferred. Nice and warm, with an additional heater in storage if required (but we didn’t need it). Bathroom was great too. It was a nice easy walk into the square, only 20 minutes - not so far out that we ever felt the need to get on the tram, but not so close that we felt suffocated by the busy areas. There is a Wine Garage underneath which was really nice. It was nice to be able to nip down for food and wine without needing to get ourselves caught in the snow! Note to others: there is no lift in the apartment. This wasn’t an issue for us but might be an issue to someone else. Would stay again and would highly recommend to others!

酒店裝修高標準,室內裝飾真的很好,有花哨的感覺。我們在前台/早餐/酒吧和客房部遇到的所有工作人員都友好和樂於助人,我們在整個住宿期間都有幾個問題,工作人員幫助我們解決了所有這些問題。早餐真的很好吃,我們喜歡拼盤,然後你也可以點的東西太棒了我們特別喜歡煎餅!位置在主老城區外,但步行進鎮非常容易,沿着一條直路,反正經過很多商店和景點。電車也可以,但我們沒有打擾,因爲我們每天都喜歡短途散步,因爲我們天氣很好。

I arrived at the hotel around 10:00 pm after a long journey - I was greeted with information that the system was down and it was not possible to check me into the room I booked and that I had to wait in the bar area. Fortunately, the complications did not last long, otherwise it would be reasonable to offer at least a glass of water while waiting for the problem to be solved. However, this is a detail compared to the point: in the room I had no way to turn off the fan, which was so loud that I couldn't sleep. I reported the problem at the reception the next day and asked to turn off the fan - I received information that at the moment there is no such possibility, because the person responsible and able to do it is currently not at work. As a solution, I was offered earplugs, which are very uncomfortable for me to sleep in, but as they say ”better than nothing”. I was hoping for a shade of relaxation during my two-day stay, and as a result I left the hotel with a headache. Two nights of sleep deprivation, annoying ”humming” of the fan in the room and the inability to open the window = drama.

We recently stopped at the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow for a three-day city break. Let’s talk about the positives first… The hotel is in a great location, it is not too far from the city centre but is on the outskirts, a few minutes’ walk from a large green recreational ground which was lovely. A Bolt (Somewhat a European version of Uber) was almost instantly available at the hotel, and we never waited more than four minutes. A Bolt cab into the city was approximately £2.50 which was great too. The hotel is clearly very new, and this shows with its modern design and use of LED ***** lights which look amazing at night-time. The reception area is modern, has free coffee machines (for use between 1000 hours and 1600 hours) and has a bar within, which again, is very nice. The spa was lovely and is included within the price of the room. We visited at approximately 0900 hours, and it was very quiet which was nice, at one point, we were the only people within the spa. Though, don’t allow looks to deceive you. There were some annoyances with the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow, and I think it is important to raise them. Firstly, the hotel is next to a building site, which is not evident from the pictures of the hotel’s website or online listings. We paid for an upgraded room with a balcony so you can imagine the disappointment when we learnt it was overlooking a very loud and dusty building site – so much so that the balcony was unusable. Secondly, the AC. (Not the name, the air conditioning!). This hotel uses the AC controls which link in with the windows and doors to prevent loss of energy, which is all well and good when it works. Ours seemed to glitch out constantly and as such locked the AC in the off position. We rung reception after spending a few hours in unbearable heat to be told that there was nobody who could help in the evenings and that they’d send someone in the morning. Fine, so we went to bed only to be woken by someone an hour later who said that they had come to look at the AC. We got up whilst the lady, what can only be described as “faffed” with the AC and then shrugged her shoulders and left – without resolving the issue. Now, if we could have opened the window, or the balcony door, to solve the issue then it wouldn’t have been as much as a big deal, yet it was a trade off between unbearable heat or construction site noise and dust. Another annoyance is when we ordered room service. We telephoned down to the bar and asked if they sold “Sauvignon Blanc”. We were told that they did and that it was however much. I asked for two bottles, and they said that they’d send someone up with it. 45-minutes later, the first waitress arrived with a trolley, an ice bucket, two wine glasses and two bottles of Chardonnay. We explained that we had ordered Sauvignon Blanc and that we would be grateful if she wouldn’t mind swapping it for the correct wine.
