Very old hotel and not very well maintained. It should be rated just only 2 stars at maximum.

NICE AND COOL

我在2016年的一月和二月在這住了一些天。房間——不錯（空調調得太低，房間冷得要命）。早餐——非常好。健身館——非常好。食物——非常貴（午餐/晚餐，我建議你們出去附近的Forum商場吃。相對酒店昂貴的食物，商場吃飯的選擇很多。四個人在酒店吃了頓自助晚餐花了超過8000盧比）。Wi-Fi——總體一般。酒店花費很高，但有着最好的房產之一，而且就在市中心。所以也沒別的選擇。

class hotel in ....No doubt it's a good hotel in kolkata. I stayed in other hotel in kolkata but the service which I receive from here not available in other hotel in kolkata. ..Staffs are verry professional over here.....Specifically housekeeping staff are too polite and helpful. Food is too good.

Its good ...the house keeping seems well versed , good service .. Dining service is good .. The buffet menu is great ... The staff are friendly and well behaved .. The hotel has great ambience ..the only drawback is that the bathroom fitting seems pretty old .. The flush knob actually tired me ..too difficult to flush .. One an average great hotel ... Would certainly recommend ..

Poorly maintained hotel. The carpets have a musty smell. Water in bathroom, not hot enough. Switches don’t work. A/C is very strong and can’t be controlled. While the hotel has vibes of eighties, if some maintenance work is done, it can get back it’s past glory. Breakfast, dinner buffet – average.

Les chambres sont correctes et spacieuses mais nécessite un rafraîchissement. Le gros plus de cet hôtel est indéniablement le personnel très accueillant et avenant notamment celui du restaurant où la nourriture est vraiment très bonne que ce soit la cuisine indienne et occidentale. L hotel est situé non loin du Victoria Mémorial et de grands parcs qui sont très sympa.

We stayed in India for one month and stayed in 7 different cities in 5 star hotels and one of them was Kolkata. AVOID booking in hotel Hindustan it was the WORST experience. This should be a 3 star hotel. Room service was terrible, called 6 times to get a towel 2 hours later. They never came to pick up used cutlery for over 1 day so we left them outside our door and it was outside for 48hours no one came and picked it up. The garbage can was full and no one came to pick it up during our whole stay. We stayed 4 nights from Wed-Sun and there was clubbing in the hotel going on every night till 3am even though we were on the highest floor we could hear the noise. Also something was biting us at night (see pic for reference)

The property is very old and dirty. Very unlike the pictures suggest. Checked out two days early. Hotel promised refund through *******.

Stayed 2 nights at HHI Kolkata. 4 star rating? Really?!! The hotel is in a run down condition. Only poor cover ups happening around the place. Filthy as well. Mould in bathrooms, power points cracked and unable to recharge our phone. False ceiling and wall plaster peeling off. Temperature control in room impossible. Either freeze or switch off aircon and potentially feel hot. Had our travel agent change our assigned rooms to an "upgraded" one but that made no difference. One of the rooms we got ( we had 2 rooms booked) , did not have a firm enough mattress leading to body aches in the morning. The hotel needs to close down for a while for a proper renovation and until that happens.. we cannot see how it can boast 4 star rating. Hotel staff in general though were helpful and welcoming.

Excellent in all spheres Highclass House keeping, food, hospitality and all other sectors. Very very comfortable,quite,clean atmosphere. It has very rich quality interior decoration.Multuple lift facility. This hotel has buffet facility for guests. From reception all informations are supplied.

Overall staying experience is good.. house keeping was excellent and good environment to stay. Must recommend.. House keeping boys is very good to meet over here.Food is also good......... If you are also planning to visit Kolkata,must stay over here.

House keeping is very good and the room service is excellent cleanliness is very good quality of food is also very good staff is very positive and personally I liked the swimming pool it’s good bathrooms are also very clean and water supplies are very good
