YAO Yai Beach Resort

L’hôtel est très bien placé entre 2 énormes complexes d’où son charme et sa tranquillité. Nous avions une chambre avec une petite piscine partagé avec la chambre à cote à l’étage avec une superbe vue mer. L’hôtel est sur la plage. Le personnel est très gentil et super serviable

Prachtig gelegen aan een heel mooi strand. Heerlijk rustige omgeving. Ik heb hier niet geslapen ( in het hotel ernaast) wel gegeten en van de massage gebruik gemaakt. Ik schrijf dit review om de mensen die van plan zijn hier te verblijven te waarschuwen dat als ze gaan wandelen langs het strand héél goed uitkijken voor het glas in zee wat elke dag weer opnieuw aan spoeld.Bij elke wandeling pikte ik een zak glas en zwerf afval op, maar vooral glas. Het zwerfvuil ligt verderop. De 3 hotels die daar naast elkaar liggen maken voor het hotel schoon maar zouden er goed aan doen om bv 1 keer per week het zwerfvuil wat verderop ligt ook op te ruimen. Zonde van het prachtige strand, kleine moeite om vuilnisbakken neer te zetten, niet 1 te bekennen over het hele strand!

I booked the hotel with some friends and my partner. Booked a two bedroom room. One bathroom in the entire room and it was an en suite so if you were in bedroom A, you had to walk through bedroom B to get to it. Not only that, but the bathroom door wouldn't even close and was in full view of the toilet so none of us were comfortable. I asked staff if there was anything that could be done and not only did they laugh in my face but threatened to report me to emigration for simply bringing the issue up. I have no issues with my passport or visa so it is not a genuine concern they could have had, but simply a way to try and lord power over me and threaten me to shut the eff up. Cannot warn people enough - THIS IS NOT A SAFE PLACE TO STAY.

It’s a good location. But I would not stay here again. I could talk about abusive management threats and lack of service and poor description of rooms. I could mention old furniture. Outdated fixtures and so on. Or I could just point to the fact that there are other choices. I suggest you take those.

Wir waren im großem und ganzen sehr zufrieden in dem Hotel. Es liegt vermutlich am schönsten Strand von Koh Yao Yai. Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. So sollte es sein. Die Lage ist vermutlich perfekt in Koh Yao Yai. Warum ich nur drei Sterne gebe liegt nur daran, da ich es mit anderen Hotels vergleiche. Das Frühstück kann man gerne auslassen. Es schmeckt einfach nicht. Jedoch ist das aber essen sehr lecker. Die Badezimmer müssten unbedingt renoviert werden. Alt und die Dusche läuft immer über. Der Blick aber vom Schlafzimmer war wunderschön. Der Ort selbst ist ziemlich ruhig. Keine Ahnung ob dies an Corona liegt. Im Großen und Ganzen war wir zufrieden, was wirklich auch am sehr netten Personal liegt. Die Massagen sind auch toll. Leider kann ich trotzdem nur drei Sterne geben. Zu empfehlen ist das Hotel trotzdem.

Party of 4 staying at a nearby resort but found it lacking in food choice and extremely expensive. Walked 100mtr down the beach and found Yoa Yai Resort. Decided to eat evening meal there and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Decided to check out the rooms for any future visits and we all decided we would book this resort on our next visit. Pricing was significantly less expensive for arguably better food and service albeit probably not the exceptional views from the resort we were staying in. Only reason 4 star and not 5 is we never actually stayed in the resort

Room was not clean and infested by bugs. After asking for new room I was treated to a sort of aristocratic theater where the manager at duty, acting as a messenger in a play, would run between me and the owner, who was having his dinner and was not to be disturbed! I could see the fella the entire time. Even waved at him, thinking it would jog in him considerations of efficiency and being a good host. No dice. This inspirational specimen of our species eventually yelled in my face, some confusing story about policy. I was told a change of room is impossible, as they where fully booked. A quick check on booking sites told a different story. Louis XV (sorry, that's how I referred to him internally while this soap went on) seemed to be lying to my face. Never again paying for this experience. Find yourself a place where management take their jobs seriously.

We were picked up from the ferry terminal without any problems, as soon as we arrived at the resort it’s absolutely beautiful and right on the beach! Easy checkin with friendly staff, we had beachfront villas which were spotless and clean and plenty space with gorgeous views of the sea! We decided to stay another night and this was no problem and made very easy to do ( can’t remember his name but was the one who picked us up and dropped us off at the port) was fantastic and sorted everything out for another nights stay! We are here in the evening right by the beach, food really good and lovely staff! Rooms cleaned daily! Would highly recommend and we will be back

Really good! The view on the beach is really good we have the beachfront room villa with big pool. The beach is nice the people is nice there are not that much tourists. The food is good. At the bar and restaurant you get as guests 10% discount there is a minimarket for like beers or sodas around the corner.
