Wet! a Pool Party Hostel by Wild & Wandering

Rooms untidy..service very bad and poor..no grade..wash rooms all broken..not working..whole day and night they are banging music..no rest and sleep..no value 4 money..not recommend..

Booked 4 nights for this place over full moon and ended up leaving after night 1!! AC was placed in such a stupid position in the room - right above my bed resulting in all the cold air circulating around me once my curtain was shut, ended up waking up so ill. Sand in all the beds once arriving, my friends bed broken and nearly hanging off, had no curtain and squeaking on every little movement - the guy opposite us told us there was a bunch of guys in prior to us arriving who broke the bed, trashed the room and left bloody plasters all around. Spoke to staff early morning explaining the state of the room who said I had to contact the manager via WhatsApp. At this point I was so fed up so decided to book another place. Spoke with Loren over WhatsApp explaining all of the above, was offered a different room but at this point had already moved accommodation. Not sure why this wasn’t offered by staff in the first place when I spoke to them? I said this to Loren over WhatsApp and now haven’t had a reply in 2 weeks. Do not stay here, much nicer places on the island!

This hostel is the worst we have ever stayed at, We came here for the full moon party and I would not recommend even if you are desperate, you’re better off sleeping on the beach or an alley way. Firstly our rooms weren’t made for us when we arrived so we waited around whilst they were doing them and they were climbing all over the beds making them.. 🤔 Secondly, the water went off which meant we couldn’t shower, use the toilet or brush our teeth, it was appalling. People were still pissing in the toilet and it smelt of piss. We raised this with the staff first thing in the morning and they were helpful in trying to contact the manager, however, it didn’t seem like he was bothered, he wouldn’t speak to us either and by the responses he has given to some of the reviews on here he is extremely rude and has asked people to raise their concerns even though we raised it nothing happened. He needs to to go a communication skill course asap. There were a group of girls who had also experienced the same issues. Eventually one of the staff was able to get hold of the manager and we spoke to him (this was after 2 days of trying to get a refund) for the time we stayed, he gave us a 1,500 baht refund which equates to around £18.50 (baring in mind we spent £150 per person for 5 nights and stayed for 24 hours) which is appalling and quite frankly insulting to be given. The bedrooms do not look like what they are advertised online at all, the shower, sink were dirty. Some of the lockers in the room didn’t work and there is no lock for the actual dorm, so anybody could walk into your dorm. In our opinion this place should be knocked down and new management in place. I’m not sure why this place has good reviews.. 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴 AVOID!!!!

Awesome place to meet new people and good for the full moon as location is perfect!! Beds comfy and AC worked like a charm!!! It’s an ideal spot for solo travellers to meet new people during full moons!!! Thanks to the great staff!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

A great hostel! Really good party atmosphere, would recommend it for solo travellers. The staff was very friendly and me us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Great pool for games and socialising. I extended my stay it was that good. I will choose Wet again if I come back to Ko Phangan. 10/10 experience overall.
