帝國飯店(Imperial Hotel Kisumu)

Das Sarova Imperial ist definitiv ein tolles Hotel um die Zeit in Kisumu zu genießen. Angefangen bei den großzügigen Zimmern die keine Wünsche offen lassen, über den kleinen Futnessraum mit guter Ausstattung, dem freundlichen zuvorkommenden Personal, gutem Essen und leckeren Cocktails. Wir waren geschäftlich vor Ort und haben unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen. Auf dem Rooftop befindet sich die Perch Rooftop Bar, leckere Cocktails und Barkeeper welche sehr kompetent sind. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Fluffiest pillows. The air-conditioning was working optimally. Excellent service. Delicious food. Awesome customer experience. Short distance from the airport for convenience. I'd recommend it for anyone visiting Kisumu-any day.

Sarova Imperial is the best place to be if you are looking for an eatery place with your family. We had a warm welcome at Perch Bar thanks to Joseph. We had chicken lollipop with Potato saute, which was well done and it was our favorite. Best location overlooking the city and the hills. Overall staff were very friendly and amazing.

Worst experience and regretting asking my fiance to go back I was served attitude from checkin and check out the bellman checked my bag and removed the water that was given to us as amenities that was so rude and disrespectful. giving us wrong recommendations in unsave areas.we came thinking service was good as before we even had to request for house keeping when we came back in the evening and our room was not cleaned

The food is 10/10, the rooms were beyond awesome, AC was working very well. The staff all them were very courteous. Special mention to Joseph restaurant, Trevor and mackline reception. Parking my car was safe and well taken care of. Ambience very beautiful place to be.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were warmly welcomed and this experience continued throughout our stay. We spent a week at Sarova Imperial. The staff were not only professional but went out of their way to be kind and helpful. The breakfast is varied and tasty with both local specialities and international food. We also enjoyed the roof top bar, the restaurant and the coffee shop. The rooms are nice, clean and the beds are comfortable. We would especially like to recommend the samosas on the roof top bar!

I love about the warm welcome from the staff especially Trevor who welcomed us ,showed us around and informed us of the basics in the room with high spirit.Kudos The food was also on another level.I was spoilt for choices.The waiter also were at our service all through.

Wow, this was a breath of western fresh air after 3 weeks travelling in Uganda and starting on our next leg of travel in Kenya and Tanzania. This place is very modern and clean and ‘western’. Check in was smooth and helpful, refreshing towel and juice to greet us and porter service of our bags. Room was soooo comfortable, clean, lovely hot shower and everything we could ask for (quiet from street noise and other neighbouring bedrooms too which is fab!) We went to the rooftop bar/restaurant and they served us an early dinner no problem. And this was a super tasty dinner!!! I had a steak and my husband a half poussin and both were really flavourful and large portions so very filling we couldn’t manage pudding. We shared a bottle of red wine which was yummy too. Breakfast wasn’t included in our rate and we hadn’t intended on having it as we felt it was quite expensive for a meal we don’t normally eat very large portions, however it was well reviewed and in the morning after having such a good dinner we changed our minds. We had a lovely buffet breakfast, everything was again super tasty. As someone who would have preferred to have a smaller offering for half the price I probably wouldn’t say I ate enough to say it was value for money, but if you’re a big morning/breakfast eater than I would definitely recommend. All the staff we encountered were very nice and friendly. Would recommend this hotel as a nice break, a feeling of ‘home comforts’ and a great refresh. Would stay again without question.

The service at the rooftop was great. Great spot for the sunset and view of City in the evening. Food was super and great value for money especially the 'Grandma' Kienyeyi Chicken. Service by Lawrence was attentive and efficient, he made us have a super experience.
