老藥房飯店(The Old Dispensary)

Siamo stati al Blindgate House durante la nostra visita a Kinsale. Hotel molto carino e pulito. Stanze grandi. Colazione molto abbondante con prodotti locali. Il personale molto gentile. A piedi si raggiunge il centro del paese. Consigliato!

Le gros point négatif c'est qu'il a été très difficile de communiquer avec l'hôte. Pas de réponse courriel, pas de réponse à la porte une fois sur place et nous n'avons jamais réussi à téléphoner non plus... Par contre, une fois les informations transmises par courriel quelques heures avant l'arrivée seulement et les clés reçues, la place est super tranquille et c'est vraiment un magnifique endroit qui se trouve à proximité de tout. J'y retournerais probablement malgré tout.

Un petit hôtel très bien situé à deux pas du centre avec une dizaine de chambres sur deux niveaux. Chambre spacieuse avec deux petits lits et une salle de bain correcte. Seul bémol le bruit à l’intérieur de l’hôtel qui est très mal insonorisé. Des ventilations qui se mettent en route à toute heure, les tuyauteries d’eau très bruyantes, des chasses d’eau tirées par des voisins indélicats qui nous réveillent en pleine nuit,sans parler des ronflements dans la chambre voisine. Un petit déjeuner très copieux servi dans une agréable pièce mais hélas pour nous il ne fait pas tout nous aurions préféré bien dormir. Accueil très sympathique

Stayed for 2 nights with many many issues. Broken curtains, but thankfully new shutters. Vibrating pipes when anyone used a toilet in the building. Socket hanging off the wall behind tv. Sagging bed. One mug in cupboard. Lots of messages everywhere, don’t use makeup, turn off towel rail, WiFi password written on back of door, etc…… Damp smell in hallway and very untidy. Location is good, with free on street parking. Extremely overpriced.

We thought this was a perfect place for us. Lucky to find parking right at the bottom of the steps. Unexpected roominess and appreciated the extra design elements. Think fridge behind cabinet doors and comfy living area. Hot shower and clean space. Steps to our restaurant and to the lovely downtown. I would stay there again.

The room is very large. But there is only 1 chair to sit on and loads of room for a small table and some chairs. The floors are very creeky and you can hear all the neighbouring rooms. This place has great potential in an amazing location, but needs a tidy up. Parking was ok but would be a nightmare in peak season. I learnt after staying that there is a kitchen onsite. It would have been nice to know this before hand. There is no common area to sit and read a book or mingle with other guests. The heaters were not on during the first night and it was freezing. You are basicslly staying in a hostel without any ability to socialise.

The amount of stairs to get to the front door made it difficult to get luggage up and down . The room was nice We had issues with WiFi password could not read the handwritten password on paper in hallway . Never got sorted out . But location was perfect o walk to restaurants and shops .

Had a lovely stay here, the room was clean,warm and comfortable,. Breakfast was fantastic with a huge choice of cereal, fruits cheese and yogurt and a choice of cooked breakfast dishes. Maeve was a wonderful hostess and made sure we had everything we needed! We will be back!

I had a wonderful experience at Blindgate House Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist me during my stay. The included breakfast was delightful and made for a great start to my day. The room was not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, as was the bathroom. Overall, I highly recommend this small but very well run hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
