Cabra castle was amazing. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was of a high quality. Would definitely recommend a stay here

We were so excited to stay in an actual castle and this is the first place we booked based on pictures. The castle itself is very beautiful, just like the pictures, but the interior and decor are all very gimmicky. If you’ve been to those medieval knight show and dinners, that’s how it felt. We got a courtyard room and at first glance, it looked really cool with the stone wall and tub in the middle of the room. But, a closer look reveals everything is not of good quality. The tub is plastic, the king bed is 2 smaller beds pieces together, the floors creak, the toiletries are bottles attached to the wall. It’s definitely medieval themed, but not the quality 4 star hotel we were expecting. It’s more motel grade. I’d choose a different castle next time. The customer service wasn’t that you’d expect from a 4 star hotel either. More like 2-3 star.

Pleasantly surprised at well kept the hotel was. Felt modern but maintained that castle charm. Very clean. Courtyard room was larger than expected. Very warm, nice on cold January weekend. Bathroom was huge. Food and service in bar was very good. Nice selection of cocktails all made fresh, no pre mixed drinks. Would certainly stay again

The hotel was excellent in every way, staff were exceptional, food was 5 star and the whole experience was 1st class. We spent new year here and stayed in the lodge. The room was spotless and very well equipped.

I cant say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. We stayed here in the spring and had to come back in the fall as we didnt feel liek we had enough time at the Castle. I cnat reccomend Cabra enough. We will be coming back here very time we visit Ireland.

I paid alot for a 2 single bed that was like a kids room which was for 2 adults. I had another room with king that had the whole castle experience and was cheaper. Be more specific with descriptions and request what type of experience the client is looking for
