First room we were offered was awful. A cold laminate floored room with two small windows that were filty with bird droppings. Dark and depressing room. Off centered Heater in room. Obviously cold too. And basically I wouldn’t allow any guest stay in it. Especially when you’re paying premium price. Second room was much better. More comfortable and brighter. An awful pity that the customer has to be assertive to complain or just put up with bad standards. Disappointing to have to complain was looking for a stress free relaxing break Staff were nice and friendly.

The staff at this hotel are incredibly efficient, displaying a remarkable ability to identify guests and remember their requests. This hotel is excellent in so many ways. It is the perfect location and in walking distance to so many good things to do and see in Killarney. However, I am giving a huge shout out to the friendliness of all the staff. Beyond that, I left my ipad in a drawer and the people BEHIND the scenes are as great as those in the lobby, bar and restaurants. A special shout out to Noreen who went out of her way to help ship my iPad back to USA. This hotel is my top pick for a pleasant stay in every way!
