Property was undergoing renovations. At check in was told that all guests with reservations had been called to inform about renovations in case they wanted to cancel. I checked my phone but had not received a call or voice mail from the property. Had booked 2 oceanfront rooms for 2 nights for us and another couple to attend wedding at property. Second day, the heat was not working so I reported it at 1:30 when we went down for wedding. Returned to room that evening to find that it had not been checked. That night we had no heat (temp in the 30's), were moved to another room which had no heat either. Were then transferred to a basic room which had heat. The other couple travelling with us had no heat in their room either. Refund was given by ******* for both rooms, but not sure if it was fair because there was no explanation as to how it was calculated. Otherwise property was older but clean, in a good location. Staff seemed overworked. Perhaps our experience would have been different if renovations were not ongoing.
