Did not get the room I reserved. Had to sleep with three people in a long bed. The pull out couch was horrible. I was with people that don’t share beds. We had to because they said everything was sold out. We had made our reservations ahead of time.

We have stayed at this hotel brand numerous times. We understand that it's pet friendly. However, the ENTIRE hotel reeked of dog. Our room smelled of wet dog. The staff did stop by and sprayed an industrial strength air freshner but that only covered the smell a little and actually iritated our breathing. The smell was so strong that we asked for a room change. The staff was very nice so it's not on them. Once we changed rooms, it was only slightly better. The comforter reeked of dog. Also, their cable pixalated ALL weekend -this never happened before at the other properties. Breakfast was good. The area is convenient to the freeways but the area looks sketchy. Big disappointment as the hotel is fairly new. I would STRONGLY suggest that you DO NOT stay here unless you want your room and your clothes smelling like wet dog - which I suspect people were probably washing them in the shower which also reeked. I don’t write this review lightly as i have stated at this brand multiple times. My wife had a slight rash on her cheek from sleeping on the pillow. Do you want to stay in a room where some other person's dog was probably on the bed? We should've paid extra and stayed at their property on Daniel Island. Its pet friendly but no way near the condition at this location. It was like a dog convention. We are very pet friendly but shouldn't have to come home reeking of wet dog and industrial air freshner. Im sorry to leave such a bad review but plz think twice about staying here.

The property was very nice. It felt a bit far out and like there wasn't much in the area, expensive to get Lyfts back and forth to places. I loved my room. My main issue was the staff. No smiles, no welcoming when you approach the desk. Seemed immature and to lack critical thinking and listening skills. When I checked in the first day I told the young woman at the desk that my room was booked from the night before, I paid for the night though I was arriving in the morning so that I could get into my room as soon as I got there as I had a 10:30am commitment. Gave her my receipt and name and she could not find it for forty minutes. Never have I checked into a hotel and they couldn't find my reservation with my name. I had to look through my entire inbox to find the confirmation number. Then she realizes she was only looking at guests due to check in that day though I told her, and my receipt showed that my reservation had started the night before. Then, no apology or anything. She just handed me my room keys with none of the usual explanation or information you usually get checking in to a hotel. The next day I bought something from the little hotel store and told the person at the desk, a different person, that I didn't want to charge it to my room because I needed a receipt to be reimbursed. She processed the transaction with my credit card, I ask for my receipt, then she tells me "We don't give receipts." Also outside sitting/eating area not maintained and usable.

My room was not clean throughly there was dog poop under my bed that I could smell but could not find until the night before I left because there was a huge palmetto bug I. The room that went under the bed where the poop was. Just a big freaking mess!!

Great hotel with large, clean rooms. Pleasant service. Hot breakfast every day with a variety of options. Coffee and tea station available 24 hours. Daily room cleaning is not in effect. One suggestion would be to make same day room cleaning available - when we called we were told we would have to wait until the following day.

I truly enjoyed the hotel as it pertains to cleanliness, friendly staff and the breakfast. The disappointment came when we received news of a relative passing and had to leave a day early. In any other normal circumstances I would have followed the proper cancellation process but this time we had no advance notice….I would think there has to be a policy in place when unforeseen circumstances come about.. We stayed Friday and Saturday as well with no incident …I pride myself in trying to follow rules but this time I could not have known this was going to happen…

Only a few lights out in the parking lot. Place was busy. Staff excellent. Might want to check all shower corners for Re-caulking before they become an issue. Overall it was comfortable clean and safe. Well worth the $&.
