金斯阿姆斯飯店(The Kings Arms Hotel)

Stopped for food last Sunday and menu looked good such a shame the food didn’t. It’s trying to be something it isn’t and charging extra £1.50 for a thimble of watery gravy on An already very expensive lunch is a no no. Smash burger was anything but and all four of us regretted stopping here instead of going elsewhere for food

A warm welcome on arrival which continued throughout our 4 day stay. All staff were very attentative with special mention to Debbie for her excellent service at breakfast time along with Abi and Imogen between the bar and restaurant services. Food/choice was very good and the room was well furnished and very comfortable. Great location right on the main square will definitely be returning 👍.

Fantastic location in the market square. On arriving we had a lovely surprise at been upgraded to a superior room. The room was spacious and spotless clean - with a super-king bed which was soooo comfy. It was located on the first floor overlooking the courtyard - which was quieter than the market square- particularly on market day Loved the furnishings and decor. Breakfast choice was excellent and cooked to order. Juices and cereals available too. The staff were more than accommodating. Very pleasant and very hard working. All in all a great small hotel - in perfect location- with excellent staff.

This is a lovely hotel and has staff to be proud of. A happy friendly team. Nice and clean with good facilities right in the centre of the town. The fresh home cooked food is superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be going back again soon.

Sean was a delight to negotiate our late arrival for a room and made us very welcome. The breakfast in the morning was very good and the service from Debbie was second to none and her attention to detail was outstanding. Will definitely come again.

We usually go to the flagship hotel, Lodore Falls but decided to try the Kings Arms for a change. The quality of the room was similar with great decor, comfy beds and luxurious bedding. The staff were far more friendly and welcoming. They could not have been better. We enjoyed the food for both dinner and breakfast.

We had a nice meal here, burger and fish platter. Both were very good. Nice decor with comfy seating. Always managed to get a seat at the bar or a table in the restaurant even when other places were full. Is that a good sign?? Not much a**osphere, but great music playing in the bar and we liked it here.

A lovely evening out hosted by Sharron and Nigel, who were so welcoming and attentive. Shame there were only 2 staff on, as they were rushed off their feet, as we had a long wait to be served- so don't come here if you're expecting quick service!

In casas today. joe was a special barman was under pressure but dealt fantastic with all customers management should of helped. Or gave him a glass collector. Maby look at ur staff situations for the weekends. well done joe u are a super star.
