赫米斯頓旅館(Hermiston Guest House)

Pobyt w Hermiston Guest House był wielką przyjemnością. Nasz pokój był bardzo ładny z widokiem na ogród, co zapewniało nam ciszę i komfort w nocy. Łóżko super wygodne. Właściciel jest fotografem, co dodaje uroku całemu domowi, pełnego pięknych zdjęć, które można też kupić. Na wprost naszego łóżka wisiał piękny obraz-fotografia jeziora Buttermere, za którym tęsknimy. Doceniamy ciasteczka i herbatę w pokoju. Śniadania i pogawędki z gospodarzem, który ma cudowne poczucie humoru były niezwykle miłym akcentem każdego dnia. Mamy nadzieję, że uda nam się wrócić.

This was our second visit to the Hermiston having visited in May. Once again we were greeted and warmly welcomed by Phil, the most charming of hosts. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable with all our needs catered for 100%. The breakfast was pre ordered the day before so you got exactly what you wanted and was deliciously prepared by Helen. It is everything you want in a Lakeland guesthouse, a short walk from the village and easy off road parking. We will return again I am sure. Thank you so much.

Myself and my wife stayed with Phil and Helen for 3 nights. First impressions were warm with being greeted at the door. What really stood out was the cleanliness of the rooms and the attention to the little details. It’s clear Phil and Helen have really thought about how to make guests feel comfortable and welcomed, whilst considering things such as how to sustainably look after the resources at Hermiston. The rooms were set up for all your needs, along with the home being equipped to suit hikers and early risers and cause as little discomfort or disruption to other guests. Phil was extremely knowledgeable about the local area and hiking in the mountains, along with the food cooked by Helen being done to perfection. It’s a shame Trip Advisor do not do 6*

We will definitely aim to be back in future. So convenient for the northern fells. Spotlessly clean and rooms a good size. The hosts could accommodate our needs for ground floor rooms which was helpful. Breakfast very good! Great advice on local eateries.

Fantastisk hyggeligt sted i så smukke omgivelser. Servicen er helt i top og værterne altid smilende og imødekommende.

Just come back after 4 nights here and we were made very welcome, very much a home from home experience. Everything about the accommodation is first class and we would not hesitate to recommend staying at the Hermiston Guest House in a lovely village in Cumbria.

3 night stay at this beautiful house lovely warm welcome from Helen and Phil room spotless view looking on to their beautiful garden and fells lovely little extra outside terrace for all guests where a cup of tea was most welcomed on arrival very thoughtful touches through out our stay plenty of choices for breakfast and all very tasty would highly recommend this beautiful Guest House

Facilities are excellent. Breakfasts were excellent. The major stars of this lodging were the host and hostess. They bent over backwards to assist us with various questions and even with car trouble. The small library in the Commons room is suburb. Very highly recommended.
