3* EXPERIENCE Arrived at hotel mid week for one night. We were told by reception at check in the cleaners were still in the room so we went for a drink in the meantime. When we returned we were told the room still wasn't ready so we waited in the lobby. Reception finally gave us the key and when we arrived at the room the foor was open and the cleaners were still inside. Hotel should not state on website that you can check in at 3pm and then have toom ready at 4.10pm. We went to the spa and had intense deep tissue massages where we both fell asleep so obviously they were not that intense but enjoyable all the same. The thermal suite was also underwhelming- jacuzzi not working in infinity pool and sauna was very hot. On return to our room, we noticed all our belongings were moved and the curtains closed. Not sure if this is usually done in 5* hotel but we felt like it was unnecessary. We then went to the Brasserie for dinner where we were told that there would be a 45min wait for food but we could go to Riva as they would have seats. I had called weeks beforehand to reserve a table at the Brasserie and was told it was first come first serve. Then we noticed a table reserved for 8 people on our way out. The room was well equipped but the beds were hard and it was way too hot leading to a poor night sleep. Told the receptionist about our check in and instead of taking it on board she unapologetically said that the hotel was fully booked and check in is usually between 3-4pm

Etwas abgelegen an einem See steht das relativ moderne grosse Hotel mit ansprechenden, geräumigen Zimmern. Nur: als wir abends müde von der Fahrt angekommen sind, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Restaurants ausgebucht seien. In der Bar gäbe es Nüsschen zum Bier. Wir entscheiden uns für Chips zu 4 Euro aus der Minibar. Lausig. Morgenessen muss und kann nicht reserviert werden.

Phenomenal hotel and without a doubt the best I have ever been to. Best staff I have ever encountered, best location, best facilities, it just has everything. I have been twice this year and would go back again tomorrow. I would say that the food is best in the fine dining restaurant and Riva and the brasserie, the food could be better if I am honest but that doesn’t take away from this being 5 star all the way.

We went to Riva this weekend, to celebrate our upcoming wedding. From start to finish we had the most incredible experience. Our waiter was Sergio (from Alicante 😊)! He was phenomenal!! He made sure we knew about the gluten free options, and that we had a fabulous glass of Prosecco to celebrate our evening!! He was so chatty and kind! The food was out of this world! We honestly had the best night and can't wait to come back again!! All of the waiters are wonderful here, but we really wanted to highlight how fantastic Sergio was!! 😌

Das beste Hotel von Irland. Ausgezeichnete Küche, ob Frühstück oder Abendessen, es bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Alleine die Aussicht auf den See und die Berge sind eine Reise wert. Die Räumlichkeiten sind mit stilsicherer Eleganz ausgestattet, ohne übertrieben zu wirken. Selten habe ich so zuvorkommendes, höfliches und kompetentes Personal angetroffen. Ob Porter, Zimmerfrauen oder Mitarbeiter der Bar, der Brasserie oder des Panoramarestaurants, alle waren einfach Spitze. Wir, alle Hotel-und Restaurantbesitzer, kommen gerne im nä chsten chsten Jahr wieder

We stayed here for two nights in two rooms. It was an amazing stay. The room was cleaned, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff at the restaurant were helpful and friendly. During our stay, we always ate there, and the bar was amazing. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a buffer, but it didn't have many choices, as I expected for such a five-star hotel as I travel around the world and I have seen but the staff was helpful and polite. The view was terrific, the gym was clean, and the swimming pool looked out the lake. It was fantastic.
