基洛納舒適套房飯店(Comfort Suites)

Hotel management is doing some updates , but those are just to give filling that hotel looks nice. Instead , they need to update windows, especially on rooms looking at highway , since noise that is coming from every passing vehicle is very loud, especially when large trucks drive by. And they drive all night long. Do not recommend booking the room on that side hotel until windows are replaced with newer better sound proofing type. Even the rooms looks nice, good size, newer furniture and mattresses , but pillows are to small. Bathroom also looks nice, but toilet bowl is very, very low, almost kids size. But the worst thing in this room was heating unit. When unit kicks in , on heating mode, at first for several minutes it blows cold air, and than hot air. And on top of all it is so loud, so it is impossible to have it on and try to sleep.

Hair in the shower, stain on pillow case. There was a baby screaming upstairs all night and loud stomping and banging. Soup proofing is no good. You can hear everything from the hallway and my room was in front of the elevator.

We were there for 5 nights. And didn’t receive any room service at all. When we checked in they informed us the staff would be around on the third day to replenish our towels and clean the room. No one showed up even after we called, we had to retrieve our own towels from the front desk, not to mention some toilet paper and a Kleenex box. When we arrived we only had 1 toilet paper roll and a used Kleenex box. When we called and asked for service we were told they were short staffed but then we proceeded to watch all the rooms around us get replenished and cleaned for the other guests. Our fridge also only worked on the 5th day of our stay so we could not have any groceries for the duration of our stay.

We love staying at comfort inn suites. The place is always comfortable and breakfast room options are great. I however had a dirty room last night (bed and bathroom) bed sheets had stains and we found two bugs. (Not bed bugs- just from the room I guess) Staff was super good about it and polite but couldn’t “do anything” due to us booking through *******… needless to say I will book direct through the hotel in the future incase problems arise.

This review is given within the context of that it was May long weekend (thus a much busier time and way way higher prices). That said, there was only one staff member supporting the entire property on the Friday evening of this weekend. This person did a great job but clearly was given an untenable task. He was managing the front desk and concierge and even cleaning services. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room (towels had hair, smelly food left in refrigerator, etc.). Overall, this is worth 100$/night stay, not 3.5x that. My disappointment is largely on the management/leadership decisions for this property.

Reality seemed a bit more "ragged", or less fresh, than pictures implied. Consequently, room pricing was seemingly too high for quality of room. 1 of 2 elevators were inoperable for 3rd floor and I was given a 3rd room floor. The only operating one was mistakingly labelled as the INOPERATING one and so I ended up walking up to 3rd floor only to find out the WRONG elevator had been labelled inoperable for the 3rd floor. This experience was very annoying after a long day of driving.

We stayed three nights for a business trip and I am in another hotel which only offers daily room service eg. Clean up room, garbage etc unless requested under the name of COVID. Hotels should be mandate to state their room service options available before booking so customers could pick a hotel which offers daily room service without to lineup in the morning in front of the front desk, or call the front desk each morning to ask for one. I guess it is not a big thing if guests are staying for only one night, but became a chore for guests who stayed multiple nights in the same hotel room in a trip
