凱里爾飯店 - 雷克雅維克凱夫拉未克機場(Hotel Keilir by Reykjavik Keflavik Airport)

Booked a brief 6-hour overnight stay to catch a few hours sleep & a shower between long flight days, was worth every penny. Got in just after midnight in late June & took a pic of the ocean from my balcony, beautiful! Everything was clean, comfortable, & the staff very nice & accommodating. Hotel only a couple of miles from the airport.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU NEED SLEEP! The hotel and room was very nice, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The woman at the front desk was very rude when we checked in, no reason for that I was kind and patient. The reason you should not stay at this hotel is the bar across the street. It turned into a dance club after midnight and played house music until 4am and then the crowd raged on in the streets until 5am. No one is my room slept a wink, it was miserable. The music was so loud it was like were were sleeping on the dance floor.

The listed amenities are totally incorrect. Lisa will not give you a. ride to and from the airport. We were told she could only drive us one way. There is no AC in the rooms. There is no room service. There is no sound proofing in the walls. There was no milk out at breakfast. This property is 3 floors WITH NO ELEVATOR. Talk about inconvenient- hauling suitcases up multiple flights of stairs. This property had the least effective curtains of our trip- most Iceland hotels have black out curtains- these only blocked some of the light which makes it tough to sleep n the summer. Too expensive for what you get. It sounds decent online but what it says is included is not there. Super disappointing. Wish we would have stayed somewhere else.

Front desk check in was kind and helpful. Picture is a bit deceiving. Ad mentioned vegan breakfast offered for $15. Paid the $15 extra. No vegan breakfast was offered. Food was put out , no vegan options there, but some fruit. Room was clean but basic and simple. However, we love our time in Iceland.

I like that we as a group were able to get around Reykjavik by in a Van with very knowledgeable and helpful drivers who were easily available, reliable, safe, gentlemen highly recommended by the desk clerk who was a very efficient and kind lady! I will recommend the hotel to my friends.

The Hotel Kelir was very clean and comfortable with a wonderfully helpful staff! We could look from our window out to the beach and walk to numerous restaurants for dinner so the location was perfect for us!! The bed linens were perfect for our night’s stay and the towels were good quality. Our transportation to the airport was so accommodating for an early morning flight out of Keflavik. We would highly recommend it!!

We just stay overnight for our flight the next day. Only reason I booked this hotel instead of the airport hotel was the free round trip shuttle. When we landed we found out there is no such service. They will call you a taxi and you can pay. Pool is not on site in is in the town. Other than that it was a good night stay.

I loved how spacious and clean my hotel room was. It was also easy to get there from Bus 55 in Reykjavik. I was able to book the airport shuttle to the airport at 8:30 the following morning, so it saved me a lot of stress. Highly recommend this hotel!!
