The Beagle Motor Inn is in Fourth St. at the eastern end, in a quiet area (at the time) . The Motor Inn room was basic with a concrete floor, a small shower and toilet area and no hair drier. The room smelt musty although it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The television only worked for a short while and the TV control had the battery compartment covered with electrical tape. The check-in staff member was friendly and courteous as were the 'Stormy' restaurant staff. The price for the room made this Motor inn poor compared with the price of other accommodation in Katherine.

Located a couple of km down the Victoria Highway, the park offers large, shady sights that are partially grassed. There is good mobile reception. But the wifi is a little sketchy. Amenities are older and unappealing: water pressure was not great and hot water a bit hit and miss. Park is Member of G’Day Mates so discount apples to members: this makes full rates a bit high for the quality provided. We had a road front site which meant we were somewhat exposed to noise but there was plenty of space and privacy. Cyclone fence for security did not feel all that secure.
