Paradise Country Panshet

I went to this resort with my family. It is a remote resort which is at the midst of nature. I would not say that the rooms were top-notch like other 3 -4 start hotels, but they were clean and ample of bedding was provided and the rooms are spacious. In fact, since we were a family of 6, we were even offered an additional room at night since the same was not occupied by other tourists and owing to non-working of one of the AC in the hall of one of the rooms provided to us. Food was amazing, just like home cooked meal and very wholesome. The pool is clean and of a decent size surrounded with greenery and western ghats view. The staff was so friendly, accommodating and ensured we were well provided. It is a huge resort, and there is so much to explore. One of the staff even helped us in our hike to a nearby bauri (well). Though I still feel the property do needs some maintenance, but I personally liked the rustic feel of the same, surrounded by woods. The resort has a dog named Kaali who is a cutest hiking buddy and so friendly. At night the resort and its surrounding area appears very mysterious and amazing. Also their tea is amazing, its lemon grass favoured. Good tasting tea with less sugar is very rare to find in and around Pune. The staff also helped us identity some of the herbs and exotic plants in the resort and even provided us some cuttings to carry and propagate. All in all amazing experience.

Food quality was good. Hygiene maintainence in the rooms needs to be improved. There was a peculiar smell in the rooms. The staff was co operative and well mannered however cleanliness is a major concern. There need to be proper drinking water in the rooms and in the dinning area and aslo veg non-veg should be seperated while serving(seperated counters). Toiletiers were not provided. Few cottages had clogging issues. Hot water not available in any of the rooms.

+ pts- Beautiful surroundings, close to nature, courteous and helpful staff. Good food -pts- Property is in extremely bad staff state , not at all maintained. The rooms ,the sitting area, the beds and the toilets has dirty stench and feels extremely unhygienic and dirty to stay in. Will not recommend to anyone to visit the property in such a bad condition.
