The devil, they say, lies in the details. Sometimes you understand how good or bad a place is, based on tiny details. So, upon entering, I saw that the numbers of the room had been broken, and nobody had bothered to replace it. That is an indication of how poor the service can be. When one is not bothered to even repair something this basic. The airconditioner is shown in the photo. Barely works. There is no fan either. So, we had to spend a night with bare minimum cooling, in a room which was smelling bad, since the cushion covers and bedsheets were dirty, despite the management claiming that they have been changed. I dare not put a step in the restaurant, but we ordered a basic toasted bread with butter and jam. Guess what? The bread was barely toasted. The butter was given separately and it was hard. After that, we asked the room service to clear the dishes. Nobody came for an hour. So I kept the dishes outside my room. In the morning, it was still there. This is the level of service. The toileteries were used, and substandard quality. Nobody had bothered to replace the used body wash bottle (photo attached). The mini-fridge in the room is absolutely dirty. On top of it all, they charged us Rs 5500/ night through direct booking. The price was almost half on MakeMyTrip. This is cheating the customers. Overall, absolutely zero value for money, poor service, poorly maintained hotel. It is better to stay in a small lodge than this place.
