默哈爾精品民宿(Juna Mahal Boutique Home Stay)

とても歴史的な古い建物なので、一見の価値有です。少し分かりにくい場所ですが、時計塔を正面に、細い道をまっすぐ15分ほど左に進めば左手に看板が見つかります。 受付してくれた息子さんは、とても親切で手際よく案内してくれました。 3階の部屋は、コンパクトでかわいらしいインテリアでした。古い設備でも使用には耐えるので、居心地は良かったです。 ひとつ残念だったのは、施設詳細ページに掲載されていた｢空港無料送迎サービス｣がなかったことです。 奥様に確認しても｢無料送迎サービスはやってない｣ときっぱり断言され、有料で400ルピーくらいでならやっているとの事でした。 それなら、予約の際、ちゃんとメールで無料送迎サービスについてリクエストしたのだから、返信で有料だと言うことを伝えてほしかったなと思います。 それと、口コミにもありましたように、週末の夜間は音楽や人の騒ぎ声でかなりうるさいです。 それ以外の点は、問題なく過ごせましたが、 チェックアウトの時間が早い場合は、前日に伝えておいた方がいいです。 朝7時だと家族全員寝ていたので、声をかけて起きていただくことになり、申し訳なかったです。

I travel ***y years in India and prefer Homestay, because of the feeling of being in a family, their friendliness and support. Mostly very good. This homestay: EXCELLENT. If When. I arrived in the swall streets I had a moment I thought this would be a disaster, but when I entered the house, its was like coming into a different reality. could rate I with a 20 instead of 10, I would do it. Very antique and decorated rooms, good food, amazing view on the 3 terras floors, quiet. Usually I stay one noght, now I did 2 and returned after a weel for me more nights. I feel like part of the family and being a friend.

This Haveli is very beautiful, tastefully furnished and well cared for. The views are magnificent from the Rooftop Restaurant where it is very relaxing after being in the busy streets of Jodpur. Location is excellent, situated in a quiet, tiny street in a local, authentic area of the old city of Jodpur. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We loved our stay. If you want an historical and comfortable stay with all amenities provided, then don’t hesitate to come here. Highly recommended.

My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful stay in the heart of Jodhpur's blue city. This haveli is hidden between narrow streets and alleyways of the oldest parts of the city. The haveli's entrance conceals a beautiful interior and several floors of rooms, artefacts, and interesting adornments. The rooftop view at sunrise and sunset is lovely, and our favourite spot (apart from our room) was the dining terrace with the umbrella - we monopolized that space during our stay. The owner, Joshi, was very responsive to our group's inquiries and helped us arrange a tuktuk the evening we arrived (despite our train being significantly delayed). Joshi's son greeted us and checked us in at the haveli and Arjun helped us with our luggage. All staff were friendly and immensely helpful. Joshi's son advised us on the worthwhile sites to explore, helped organize a tour of Bishnoi village (highly recommend), and arranged laundry services. Arjun was at our beck and call for all mealtimes, ensuring we received our exact order and a delicious spread (shoutout also to the chef!). Arjun's infectious smile made us feel especially welcome and was a highlight of our stay. The ***ager of another haveli owned by Joshi gave us an amazing and informative tour of the blue city - can highly recommend as he knows every alleyway and the long history of the area. Joshi also helped one of my friends send a package home (too ***y lovely things to buy and not enough space in her suitcase), and I felt everyone went out of their way to help us - no matter what it was.

While traveling with friends through India we spent three wonderful nights at the Juna Mahal. The hotel is very nicely furnished with an eye for details and from the roof top you have a good view over the city. The hotel is centrally located so you can explore the old town and the Mehrangarh fort by walking. One morning we also did the blue city walking tour organized by the hotel. The tour is highly recommended as the great tour guide will show you ***y things you might probably have overseen and provide you ***y background information. On the roof top you can also enjoy delicious food freshly cooked. Arjun will make sure that all food wishes will be fulfilled.

Beautiful, over 300-year-old, family-run haveli in the old town of Jodhpur. Mehrangarh Fort, Sardar Market (Clock Tower), Toorji Ka Jhalra Bavdi (step well) are all within walking distance. We arrived late in the evening and although the kitchen was already closed, Lal Singh, the good soul of the house, prepared a warm and delicious dinner for us - as he did every evening during our stay. Our room was very nice and clean, as was the bathroom. The owner organized a laundry service for us as well as transport to the airport. We would book the accommodation again at any time.

Very good stay quiet place in the middle of the old city. The food is very good Lal Singh the cook is very suit and always helping or doing things to make you stay enjoyable. I recommend the place if you are looking for a simple place clean with nice people making your stay a good souvenir.

Our family of five spent four nights at Juna Mahal. Location in the old town was stunning - rooftop views of the fort and city. It was a haven compared to the hustle below. Yes, you do need to take a tuktuk to get into the old city, but it is so worth it. The rooms were authentic and beautifully decorated. We had breakfast each morning which were simple but quality. The bathrooms were a little hot, but the rooms had great air con. Stairs are steep so don't imagine great for small children (ours were teenagers). Our hosts were friendly and super helpful in lots of ways.

The hotel is in city area and so we understand that car will not reach there. But the local autos also don't know the hotel and struggle a lot in narrow zig-zag lanes of the city. Even Google Maps fail here. Also, the area has lot of stray dogs who get aggressive at times and make it difficult to get in or out of hotel. When we reached hotel at 9 in night after visit to city, almost 10 dogs came out in the lane and started barking. We took shelter in shop and the shopkeeper used a bat to shoo them away. Next morning when we wanted to get out at 8, dog was sitting on the door and refused to move away. Lastly, food. We had lunch there and we decided we won't eat here anymore due to slow service and tasteless food. But in night out kid asked for food as soon as we came back to hotel. Since we were not interested in going again to dog lanes, we asked for pasta from hotel cook. When we didn't got it after long, my wife went to the rooftop restaurant and saw that pasta was not prepared by cook. There she found that he was planning to use a pasta sauce that expired a year ago!!! That sums up food quality and standard at the place. Next morning we had our breakfast outside and we left the hotel to find another accommodation. Only good part was staff Arjun was helpful. He brought milka nd biscuit for kid from market in night. Thanks to him!!
