香料島度假飯店(Spice Island Hotel & Resort)

Très bon accueil de la managers Julia qui est aux petits soins des nouveaux arrivants ainsi que pendant tout leur séjour. Logement très correct, literie parfaite, très grande propreté. Les repas étaient excellent, le service assuré par du personnel très agréable, toujours avec le sourire et prêt à répondre à nos moindre attente. Le jour de l’indépendance de la Tanzanie, notre ami dont c’était également son anniversaire, eu une surprise, l’ensemble du personnel présent ce soir là lui on souhaité par des chants et des danses, tout cela organisé en toute discrétion par Julia. L’hôtel est situé en bord de mer, juste quelques marches à descendre et l’on est sur la plage, eau à 29°. Cet hôtel est situé au milieu d’un grand espace arboré très bien entretenu agrémenté d’une grande piscine avec une eau à 29°,. Voilà, je pense avoir tout dit, que du positif sur ce lieu ou nous retournerons avec certitude si nous sommes amenés à retourner dans ce beau pays.

Nous avons séjourné 7 jours en décembre 2023 en chambre vue piscine. Séjour idyllique au calme (Pajé plus animé à 2 minutes en taxi). Un hôtel à échelle humaine en bord de plage, grande et belle piscine. Joli jardin exotique, ponton avec bar les pieds dans l'eau. Excellente cuisine. Bref tout était parfait. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés.

Fue el lugar elegido para nuestra estancia en Zanzibar: un hotel ideal, con unas vistas de escándalo, muy buenas instalaciones según veíamos en las fotos. Y así fue: la habitación es amplia, muy cómoda, y con lo que puedes necesitar. Las zonas comunes como la piscina están perfectas, la verdad es que te sientes como en casa. El bar sobre el muelle no pudimos usarlo porque estaba de remodelación, ¡pero la verdad es que parecía que iba a quedar de lujo! Y lo que valoramos mucho: el personal. De 10, gente muy cercana, agradable y servicial. Super bien en todo momento con ellos. El único motivo por el cual pongo 4 estrellas es por la comida. La zona de restaurante nos encantó, pero la calidad de la comida no cumplió nuestras expectativas, así como los cocteles tampoco. Es un área que tiene espacio de mejora, y de verdad deseamos que sea así, porque convertirá el hotel en un sitio 10.

Cet hotel correpondait en tou spoints a notre attente : très belle piscine, magnifique végétation et seule jetée de la plage ; nous avions opté pour le "full inclusive" ce qui a éét parfaitement pris en compte les bungalows sont spacieur avec tout le confort ; les repas sont de qualité et servis dans un cadre parfait ; personnel agréable, accueillant et disponible ; a recommander absolument

Dit is echt een hotel om helemaal tot rust te komen. Heel vriendelijk personeel , lekker eten, gezellig met de jetti bar. De kamers worden netjes gepoetst. De tuin is goed onderhouden en er is regelmatig iets te doen zoals yoga, DJ-set,... De ontbijtruimte is ruim en er zijn ook zetels voorzien om even tot rust te komen. Er zijn ligstoelen voorzien aan het zwembad en juist voor het strand. Misschien bij een drukke bezetting is het wel even zoeken voor een plaatsje, vooral in de schaduw. Ze geven ook info wat je allemaal kan doen in de buurt. Het is zeker een aanrader.

We had a terrible experience and I do not recomend this Hotel to no one. We were requested extra money for the room upon arrival even though we already payed everything, the manager had a very bad attitude when we tried to tell them it is not fair what they are asking, he yelled at us and was rude. As the money was already taken from our account we had no other alternative than to stay. We tried to solve this issue with booking but we had no succes so at the end we had to pay extra and above everything we noticed that they also stole money from our wallets that were in the safe deposit box in the room. 240€ to be precise. As euro and dollar are at the same parity there we didn t take much euro with us and knew exactly how much we had.

I just returned home from my vacation. The location is nice and quiet. You don’t have many activities in the area but it’s nice for those who want to relax. Despite this, I don’t recommend it at all. We encountered a very unpleasant situation when we got there. We were 2 couples and booked 2 rooms - for each room 2 persons. The amount of money was retrieved when we booked the rooms but when we got there, the resort asked us to pay extra charges for the 2nd person in the room even though we already payed it. We provided the necessary documents to support our argument and the manager yelled at us and mentioned that we need to pay or to leave. We wanted to leave but they mentioned that they won’t refund us the already payed amount. Under these circumstances, we were constrained to remain at the hotel and tried to solve this situation with booking. We payed twice the price for our staying. Besides this, everyone was trying to fool you at the resort: in the restaurant they “miscalculated” our dinner of course in their favour and at the reception I’ve tried to buy some sunscreen products and they’ve tried to fool me with over 15 $ even though the real price was on the products. I don’t recommend this location at all since we had a lot of unpleasant situations and all the people in the resort try to trick you as much as possible.

hotel is old but nicely kept. Staff truly made a difference. Didn't have any issue and felt safe and secure during my stay. The jetty bar is very nice for a relaxed sundowner drink and the housekeeper really tried to work around my late morning schedule. Good place if you are in Jambiani and most importantly, you'll feel part of the family
