傑克遜維爾市中心萬豪飯店(Marriott Jacksonville Downtown)

Property is in not so good conditions. Rooms are not clean at all,Carpet looks very dirty. There was chips packs under the beds .Elevators smells terrible . The door in our room was stock and we wait like half an hour for someone to help us , Finally was my husband who resolved the problem . The staff was nice.

This is currently a very old property. Doesn’t give a 4 star feel. They do say renovations are coming but this stay was not the best. The bedding had stains on it. One bathroom light bulb was out the whole stay. Wifi is not free, it’s $10 a day which is very inconvenient for those staying for a business trip. I personally wouldn’t recommend or stay there again. The same goes for Marriott in general since there really aren’t any incentives unless you are a bonvoy member. Only then will you get normal accommodations free.

My husband and I arrived to check in and then desk associate said she was unable to give us the room we booked ( king size) due to over booking so she upgraded us with a river view. The view was a wall. The elevators smelled horrible and the breakfast staff ignored us as we stood in line waiting to be seated. I wrote this same review on the Marriot stay review and the manager emailed me and only apologized and said she hopes we come back. I explained to her we paid $711 and didn’t get $711 service. She never responded. The proper thing to do at this point is to provide a coupon or a percentage off of what we paid. Terrible service!

For the price of a room you should expect better. The shower curtain and carpet had stains on them. The rooms haven’t been updated to handle technology, plugs etc. The Marriott made it impossible to connect to WiFi unless you signed up for their Marriott program or paid a hefty fee. There’s not a lot to do around the hotel. I went for a walk to explore the surrounding area and did not feel safe. My view from the 10th floor was of a parking lot followed by a parking lot followed by, you guessed it, a parking lot. As you would expect the restaurant prices were outrageous, too. The staff was friendly.

Older Marriott. Lack of amenities compared to some other hotels. Parking was only available if you Valet otherwise you are on your own and the lowest cost was $20 for one time parking

We showed up to this hotel and they didn't have air conditioning working, no one told us this ahead of time. Mind you we have a dog and a child with us that cannot be left in a hot room when its 32 outside! The lady in the front was also super rude and unhelpful making it seem like its our fault that their air conditioning was out of service. Would never stay here again just by how they treated us. Want a full refund and she also refused to do that for us as well.

Took about 2 1/2 hours to check in. Was told there wasn’t any rooms available but people were getting rooms. I asked staff member why they were receiving rooms and she stated they got there before us and got on a waiting list however this was not true because 3 different people ahead of me in line to check in had just gotten there and got their rooms upon approaching the front desk. I was still told a room wasn’t available for the 2nd time after waiting in lobby for over 2 hours. This was our 4th and LAST time staying at this hotel.

My family travelled four hours to attend an event that we later learned was canceled. We were prepared to just enjoy Jacksonville however our check-in was delayed. We were told that we’d receive a call once our room was ready. After waiting three hours for a call that we never got, we returned only to be told it would be another two hours. The desk attendant was courteous apologized for the inconvenience as we departed for our journey back home. I’ve stayed in this hotel several times (last Christmas) and have never experienced such difficulty with checking in. Not angry just disheartened…
