Despite reading reviews and viewing cleanly pictures of the hotel prior to booking (rating the hotel 8.2 on *******), we were HIGHLY disappointed with our stay. I had spoken with the front desk while checking in and they were saying they were pretty booked and they seemed rushed to get guests checked in. We got to our room and it looked as if someone had done the bed sheets and that's it. The lights and A/C were on and there were stains and crumbs on the furniture and even crumbs in the fridge.
I am a loyal Hilton Honors member and have been for the past 3 years and this is not the standard Hilton promotes - I haven't had any issues like this with Hilton in the past and I am very, very disappointed. I am also very disappointed at the price we paid to stay in a Hilton room with conditions that very unsanitary.
I booked on last minute and could have stayed anywhere else in the area, but trusted that a Hilton would be the best option as I've had zero problems in the past. However, after this incident, I will now have to consider different options that will truly accommodate me as they say they will.
I would appreciate this message being brought to the attention of any higher ups within the company, to make sure this doesn't happen to me and my colleagues again, but more importantly, any other Hilton guests. Hilton, I know you can do better. I would appreciate any compensation in return as I was very upset and disappointed with my Hilton stay.
