This hotel is not for families!! The minute we arrived, we did not feel welcomed!! The reception staff behaviour was disrespectful to say the least, especially the female ones!!! They don't listen and their first answer is always 'No' even though the first rule in customer service book is never say 'no' to customers but must be like 'ok, I will see what I can do' or 'I will do my best'!! One strange thing is those 'see through' bathroom doors. Its not convinient for families since one can see each other when they taking a bath. The indoor pool is very small and not heated and the water is cold as a result. They also ask to wear a hair cover if you want to enter the pool, and you can buy it from them for a relatively high price!

我們一家四口,在2022年9月初在Movenpick住了6晚。我們在那裏度過了愉快的時光。我們的家庭房間非常方便,包括非常舒適的牀和乾淨的浴缸和按摩浴缸。房間設施很完善。酒店的位置非常好,出租車站就在酒店旁邊。酒店有一個非常好的健身房和室內游泳池。接待處和工作人員都很有禮貌和樂於助人。完全推薦商務旅行和旅遊旅行的酒店。我的意見中的負面點是:-缺乏陽台-早餐不是5-star酒店的水平,熱早餐品種很少,熱早餐很肥油。

房間面積不大,但功能齊全,晚上入住還可以。早上在WC淋浴房,有從洗手池溢出的污水的氣味。並不是你第一天想要什麼!!!!前台的年輕女士功能齊全,樂於助人,但沒有通過客戶互動超越頂部。英語技能非常出色。這家餐廳的早餐很好,有各種麪包、糕點水果等。作爲素食者,煎蛋卷裏含有肉,餐廳經理Altan Uslu非常樂於助人,安排了無肉煎蛋卷送到餐桌上。這是一個非常好的服務。酒店是離火車站步行的5-minute,所以在機場和酒店之間出行很方便,離海邊很近。

My and friends were there for two nights on March 14 and 15 at the start of the two weeks tour on the South part of Turkey. The bad thing: It was a small issue with the beds, when booked I asked for two separate beds not a King Bed and a sofa in a room with City view as booked and paid. It was changed to a smaller room with two single beds but with some inconveniences, the room didn't have a City view and balcony as described but a window to the rear of the hotel facing offices and residential spaces with an ugly view to air conditioning units and utilities full of garbage and cigarettes butts. I was very tired after a very long flight, car rental issues and airport transfer - driving from airport to hotel, checked in around 9 pm, didn't have the strength to deal with it so I gave up. The good thing. The hotel is located at a major intersection, e few walking minutes away to the sea or the bazaar. Everything you need you have it around. Shops, restaurants grocery stores, and what I needed the most: Currency, Exchange office and a shop where I bought a local SIM card, Turkcell I believe, they open at 9:00 am. Except the ”bad things”, I found staff to be helpful with everything else I inquired, info, luggage, parking. They also have city maps. Not all hotels do. The bar staff also nice. The restaurant looked closed, lobby bar as well, off season and it was pretty late in the night too, around 10 pm, nobody in but when I asked the reception they called the restaurant staff right away. We were a little concerned about the service and quality of the food judging by the the fact that we were the only customers and the waitress was also the cook and the bartender but....The lintel soup was amazing and the fried calamary with home fries were absolutely delicious. Worth a big tip! Breakfasts was typical, a little more than a continental breakfast but a little less than a 5 star hotel, but over all not bad. 3 star rating from me due to the inconvenience of the room downgrade. I will also inform Expedia.

A great girls long weekend in izmir, we decided to return to the authentic Karaca Hotel which is centrally located overlooking the gardens of the Swissotel Buyuk Efes. Our second stay here was just as great as the first. We had a beautiful room on the 4th floor facing the gardens. We had everything we could want in the room, tea and coffee machine, air con, a beautiful walk in shower. Everything was clean and authentically presented and the beds were so comfortable we actually didn't want to leave, or wanted to take the matresses home with us. The staff were amazing they were very helpful with calling for taxis, giving advice on things to do and places to visit, always happy and friendly to talk too.

I was at the hotel for a week. I wasn’t a fan and remain unhappy with the hotel and its staff. The cleaning staff were amazing and kept the room nice. The reception staff were grumpy and unwilling to help when things went wrong during my stay. I would never recommend this hotel and would suggest you avoid it completely. The area of izmir is also very strange, as I’ve been to Istanbul, marmaris and Antalya where people are friendlier and services are better! So the hotel: * windows open from bottom to top, very dangerous and can easily fall out and die! * cockroach in bathroom, they changed my room once but I found more and started going to the toilet downstairs! * hotel only gives 1 small 500ml bottle of water for free each day, so you have to go buy your own water locally! I’ve been to a lot of countries where they give you free complimentary water with a larger limit or at times no limit to how much water you want, so this shocked me at the hotel! * tv did not work and the staff were not willing to help when I called downstairs. * lift is tiny and only for 2 people at a time so expect to wait a while to go upstairs to your room! * breakfast is very basic, tasteless, bland and I was unwell/vomited once! Anyway, that’s my review, and I’ve been as honest as I can. I won’t be returning to the hotel or to izmir, there are scammers everywhere and the taxi drivers are rude and aggressive! I managed to see some sights locally but nothing to sing and dance about.
