達拉飯店-老城(Dara Old City Hotel)

Hello to everyone who is in search of hotel I have stayed hear for 3 nights and the staff are very welcoming, kind and helpful they will give you correct information to help in any way possible, the location is very good close to everything you need and visit also there is a mosque opposite the hotel which was perfect for me for morning and evening prayers, the breakfast is also good and fresh and the lady is very nice in the kitchen. As for the room it was clean and tidy and a nice view from the roof top. Overall I am very happy with my stay and would recommend this hotel and a big thank you to all the staff there

Un hotel d arnaque J ai reserve une chambre avec l application booking au mois de decembre 2022 pour 8 jours du 20 Mai au 28 Mai . J avais mon numero de confirmation Je suis arrive par avion a istanbul le 20 Mai a 17 h et j ai pris le taxi de l aeroport pour me rendre a l hotel. Lorsque je suis arriver a l hotel ,je me presente a la reception avec mon nr de confirmation . A ma surprise le receptioniste m informe que ma reservation a etait annule . J etais choque je voulais appeler la police,je ne pouvais pas contacter booking de istanbul. J etais obliger de me loger dans 3 differents hotels avec des prix exorbitants et des chambres de mauvaises qualites. A mon retour au canada j ai contacter le service a la clientele de booking pour prendre leurs responsabilites et me rembourser le surplus payes . On m a demander de leurs fournir les factures de mon sejour des 3 hotels et je leurs est envoyes les factures,ensuite il ne voulaient rien savoir et on m a tout simplement Ignorer .et ne voulais pas prendre leurs responsabiliites. Je trouve leurs attitude non professionnel et j ai decide de relater mon histoire et ne plus utiliser l application Booking dans mes prochaines reservations

So this hotel is small hotel, at the bottom of the street ten mins away from the grand bazaar. It’s a monster steep walk uphill to get to the grand bazaar is make sure you have lots of breakfast. Talking of breakfast, it’s basic, very basic and you will need to pay extra if you want coffee from the machine. If you want hot food, make sure you get to the breakfast early. You can always pay extra and have them cook you something extra but the included free breakfast is very very average. The rooms itself. Well. The room I was given had an adjoining door for another room. Surely rooms like this should be for families. Luckily the key was on my side. The room was small but ok. Nice bed. Bathroom was big and adequate (although my mates room wasn’t). I could sit on the toilet and stretch my legs. But my mate, well if he stretched his legs, he would end up in the shower. The walls are very thin and setup is weird. My window in the bathroom had air con units outside it. 1st night in the hotel was fine as there was no one staying in the room next door. But after that, it went downhill. The neighbours were noisy and you could hear everything. Housekeeping would turn up very early. The restaurant served nice food (top floor same place as your breakfast), but a little on the expensive side, when further up the road you can get the same for less than half price. Cheap and cheerful stay. Just bring earplugs and be prepared to walk uphill to get anywhere!

We had an immensely enjoyable stay at the Dara Old City hotel. We received such a warm welcome and the staff were friendly, accommodating and incredibly helpful. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the Hippodrome. The rooftop restaurant has lovely views and is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sunset after a busy day sightseeing. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return one day.

My friends and I had a lovely stay at the Dara Old City Hotel. The staff were so welcoming, made us feel right at home and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a fantastic location, perfect for sightseeing as the Hippodrome is just a 10 minute walk away. The rooms were clean and comfortable with good showers, air con and complementary water. There a rooftop bar and restaurant which is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sunset after a busy day sightseeing.

The stars of the hotel were the staff. Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional they always went the extra mile. Very clean room and great location all the main attractions within walking distance and great link for public transport. Very highly recommended this hotel. If I can give them more than 5 stars I would’ve done it 7⭐️

Every day breakfast at the rooftop terras. Top quality, top view, top service. If you ever go to Istanbul, this is one of the places to be. Do not mis it. The location is very strategic in the heart of the old center.

we spent 3 nights and enjoyed our stay manager very helpful seeing that it was our first trip to turkey the view from the restaurant was beautiful overlooking the bosphorus river. the food was good the staff very friendly
