尼勒宮飯店(Nayla Palace Hotel-Special Category)

Do Not Stay Here !!! And especially don't book at Nayla if you plan to use cash and pay for several days in advance. They will take advantage of you ! Because they knew we had cash, they used it as an opportunity for bogus penalties. $55 for a broken tea cup plate $45 for a bedsheet with blood on it, claiming they wouldn't be able to bleach it out $35 for a teapot because we poured milk in it, claiming that future guests could have an allergy $30 for a blanket with tea stains And an unspecified additional charge because the curtain fell down ! They are fraudulent people, you stay here at your own risk.

We booked the hotel for the fact it had a parking but when we arrived there it was a narrow one way street where we weren't supposed to park. We were told to leave the car there that they will watch for it. Strange approach. The room we received had the greatest garbage view we ever had. The pictures speak for them self. The rooms were not clean. BFST food very poor. I gave one star because I had no option of giving none.

Albergo in ottima posizione, vicinissimo a Sultanhamet. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Staff molto gentile e cordiale. Camere ben insonorizzate, la nostra con bella vista mare. Non sono molto grandi come stanze, ma hanno tutto il necessario e sono confortevoli.

1 star hotel at maximum. TOTAL DESASTER. The booking information is false. They said the hotel has free parking, but in reality there is no private parking and neither public parking. We paid and selected this hotel based on the specification. We ended up parking in front o the hotel on the narrow street filled with cars right on the pedestrian side. People were parking randomly blocking the street. This I wasn’t comfortable at all. We arrived at midnight otherwise I would have changed the hotel. The room was a total disaster. Bathroom really dirty with left over long black hair spreader on the walls. Moldy and dusty. The towels wormed out. And the vie something to die for: the view was over a basement that they were gathering garbage. Right in front of the window there were left overs from constructions materials and literally garbage. Dirt dirty and again dirt. 1 star is far from reality. This ruined my stay. I don’t know how people gave such good reviews on booking. I think there are fake. I called booking and sent them pictures. They even didn’t refill the cheap instant caffe in the room and neither made up our room at the 2nd day. We staid 3 nights. Our friend had the room done and refilled. Even if they saw the pictures they relied on the rest of the reviews. I dropped some picture and you can make sour own opinion. Breakfast was basic with nothing stated we were in Turkey. Commercial Lidl staff. Not like in the pictures. The coffee was horrible. Very cheap instant coffee. Common ! We are in Turkey, they are known for the great food, coffee and tea. We were looking for 4 star hotel and we were misleads by the fancy pictures and we ended up in a 1 star hotel.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Sultanahmet district. In walking distance to all major sightseeing attractions .The staff is very friendly, helpful and flexible. The room was always clean and nicely organised. There is a big breakfast buffet on the roof terrace with a stunning view 🤩. My husband and I will definitely return to here the next time.

The room was small and awkward (I had to roll over the bed to get to the other side of the room as it was nudged against the wall) but the hotel served its purpose giving me a place to sleep between seeing the sights in Sultanhamet. It’s conveniently situated within walking distance of the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome. There are also several restaurants, bars and markets in the vicinity. Average breakfast but fantastic view.

We were put into the Nayla by our hotel who had lost our reservation. Our double #201 was in the back, facing a large space between the adjacent buildings, so we could see the sky from the ground floor and had privacy. We thought the room was very cute (the Ottoman look) and had enough floor space for morning exercises. The next 2 nights we were put upstairs in room #302 with the same view. This was a triple, with much more space. The buffet breakfast at Nayla is Fabulous! All the usual plus menemen (eggs & tomato), simit, breakfast cakes, salads, sweets, excellent tea. We wanted to stay longer but they had no more availability.

I hate giving Not so good reviews, but this hotel was not up to par. First of all, we stayed here because it is a great area just to walk and see all the sites in Fatih Istanbul, even though I read mixed reviews. I was looking for a local hotel with a view of the Bosphorous and the Blue Mosque. And this place offered it. I booked a family room with two beds in a high floor. When we got there, the young man that was working the counter, did not speak very good English. So he took us to a room, which was a tiny room with 2 tiny beds, I told him that was not what I had paid for, then he took us to another one, that had just one big bed, and we were 2 persons. when he saw that I was very aggravated, he told us that our room had something wrong with the shower and they were fixing it, that he could put us in one room in the basement provisionally until next day, and then around two we will have our original room. The room he put us in was actually in the basement, it was large, but the windows were facing the inside of their warehouse. Pretty creepy. next day as promised, he took us to a room, when I open the windows to see our view, all the views were obstructed by buildings!!!!.. we were so disappointed!!!.. so yeah, I guess they’ve photo shopped the view of the room in their site, because all we could see was the top of ugly buildings. the a/c never worked right, the shower would flood if we would let it run for just a bit, and the furniture where we had our refrigerator, the hinges came out. None of the three guys that worked the counter, spoke or understood English very well. So everything got lost in translation. I am not an ugly American. I am a well traveled person, and I believe if you work in a hotel you should speak another language. needless to say, we couldn’t wait to get out of there. The breakfast was OK, but that location was very nice. This hotel just needs to have a huge update and they need staff that speak other languages other than Turkish. in the end, they told me they were going to give me a refund for what happened the first day and they just did a mess in my credit card. Also they want it for me to go somewhere and pay because their system was not working. if they gave me a rebate it was maybe of €6… I do Not Recommend this hotel.
