祖爾姆勒飯店(Hotel Zur Mühle)

We are repeat customers, have stayed there many times. It is convenient to the S-Bahn going either to downtown Munich or to the Airport. The rooms are very clean but relatively small. That's the reason I gave it a "very good" instead of "excellent". However, we never spend much time in the room, so it works well for us. The breakfast room is great, the buffet selection is abundant, and the service is excellent. Never had a bad experience there. The bar is open all day. Adjacent is the restaurant. The food is excellent and a good mix of dinner selections. In summer, they also have a Biergarten which is very nice. However, the menu is a bit limited there but very good.

Had to stay here due to some unforeseen circumstances. For the most part, the reception staff was nice and accommodating, however the attitude of one of the ladies brought the rating down to a two for me. I’m paying a large amount to stay in a tiny room and she has the need to roll her eyes when she has to get up from her seat when I had to unfortunately extend my stays (if I could I would’ve left after one night). Another thing that I thought was pretty poor (being in the hospitality business) is when she told me to come back to reception in twenty minutes because she was in the middle of eating (rolling her eyes again). I’ve stayed in many hotels but never have I had this kind of experience. I would consider she was just having a bad day however I stayed for much longer and this was every interaction with her. I felt uncomfortable being there and tried as little as I could to wait for her to leave so I could speak to someone else. That shouldn’t happen.
