Stayed for one night while over on the island with work, and this excellent hotel comes highly recommended. The rooms are warm & comfortable with great sea views. The staff are friendly & welcoming and the food is top class. We had dinner in the bar and breakfast and everything was fresh, tasty and top quality. This is the place to stay if you are visiting Islay.

Dropped in for lunch during our visit to Islay and throughly enjoyed the delicious cuisine, ambience, stylish surroundings, comfort and entertaining, knowledgable and friendly hospitality in abundance from Lorna and her team! We will certainly return 🤩 Jacqui Chris Jenny and James

All of the staff were excellent, friendly, welcoming and if asked, gave a lot of advice on places to go and see, and what whisky to try. The food was the star of the show, breakfast lunch and dinner, nothing disappointed. Would have loved to have been in the bar if there was some live music on, next time hopefully. Bar, lounge and restaurant were all lovely areas. The room had everything we needed. They did allow us to bring our dog.

Wow - what a great place. Went went on the hotel organised distillery tour, with dinner bed and breakfast in the package. Isobel and the team have created a great place to stay, eat and drink - our stay over 5 nights was faultless apart from one glitch with a breakfast. Our room was comfy with great rooms, the food was delicious with enough to choose from for our stay. All the staff without exception were brilliant, all knowledgeable about Islay, all helpful without exception. Our stay was so good, it would be unfair to pick out individuals. The bar is excellent and the range of whisky is superb, and the knowledge of the team to make recommendations is astounding. Thank you to the team for making our holiday memorable for all the right reasons - we will be back, and we recommend it to anyone considering staying here.

We had a delicious lunchtime meal and a good bit of banter with the staff! Although busy, and we had arrived without booking a table, we were made very welcome. Next time we visit maybe we will look to stay here!

I have to echo the last reviewer, Shalom and Lorna were the best. Best of luck Shalom in your education, you're going to do great things! Lorna made us feel like family. Great food and location. Hope to be back.
