The Rustic Hills Retreat is situated on four lakeside lots, a perfect location for family oriented fun. The home and property allows for lake access with a dock...excellent for boating, kayaking and fishing. Enjoy the scenery while relaxing on the deck, grilling (grills included) or enjoying smores and campfire stories with two bonfire pits. The quaint neighborhood is great for a family bike ride or a stroll around peaceful lakeside properties. Guests will have access to two kayaks (with life jackets), badminton/volleyball nets and equipment, a basketball hoop, bikes, hammock and a cornhole set. The yards and grounds are perfect for outside games, with ample space for tenting. The house is equipped with many amenities and appliances that will support ten guests. The Rustic Hills Retreat has two upper bedrooms containing queen size beds, along with a lower bedroom with a queen bed. A pull out sleeper, futons and daybeds in both the upper and lower living rooms allow for sleeping arrangement for the entire family. The house has a full kitchen and formal dining room. Kitchen amenities include; pots, pans, dishes, silverware, bowls, various kitchen utensils, toaster, microwave, Keurig, a drip coffee maker, air fryer and much more. Great front and backyard , along with being lakefront with a great beach area for swimming with ankle deep water to chest deep water. With this home you will gain access to the main floor, upstairs, garage, and front driveway. You may see the host from time to time while using the basement occasionally when heading to or from the lake, as that is the best feature but will never stay there during your booking! There will be posts to auger your personal boat or rental next to the dock as our dock sits on the floor of the lake and cannot handle a boat being tied up to it. As you look to the backyard, you will be a few short steps from Bella Vista Golf Course, as well their restaurant Oscar Brown's Tavern. The largest river in the area which allows for 150 miles of paddling from Union lake, all the way to where it joins Lake Michigan in St Joesph Michigan. Staying in the winter, you can also ice fish this lake. Want to bring your own boat? Not a problem! Although you won't be able to launch from the property there is a boat launch just up the road from this property. Less than a 5-minute drive takes you to downtown Union City, while Coldwater, Michigan, is just a short 20-minute drive away. Nearby attractions include Five Star Pizza, Mel's Diner, Broadway Grille, and a children's park in town. The Potawatomi Recreation Area offers additional recreational opportunities. Union city damn is just minutes away from this property and also provides ample fishing opportunities. In Athens just 10 minutes away is an alligator sanctuary.
