The staff were professional. The room was a bit on the small side but clean, warm, and had all the amenities one needed. Restaurant had variety for dinner. Restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was average, but okay.

My family and I loved our stay at the Volunteer Inn! Very helpful staff and excellent restaurants serving Indian cuisine for supper and full, complementary English breakfast each morning. The food was outstanding and the pub lively. I would say the pub is the most lively place in Chipping Campden, although it can become loud and smoky, especially if England wins! The location is great for exploring Chipping Campden and as a base for experiencing the Cotswolds! We will return!
