Dine outdoors on the deck, after BBQing your meal, or drive 10 -15 minutes to award winning wineries, restaurants and cafes. The kitchenette also includes a single induction cooktop with saucepan, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and microwave.Rinse off in the gas heated, outdoor shower, whilst enjoying the view. We use a eco composting toilet system which is new, clean and fresh for each stay. The toilet is 4 metres from the main cabin, out from the back door. The cabin is about an 80 metre walk up from the bottom of the section where you can park. So you will need to be able to walk up the hill, it's not very steep, and affords you the great views while being only a minute or two from the waters edge.McKenzie Reserve is our local, regenerating bush walking track. Many other coastal and forest day walks are nearby. We are also on the Te Ara Hura national walking track. Enclosure bay is a well kept secret, one of the quieter Northern coast beaches, just a minute or two from the cabin. Enjoy a swim, snorkel or kayak, you might get to meet our resident octopus if you're lucky. Waiheke is home to numerous vineyards, a local brewery, Saturday arts and crafts market, with many culinary delights to discover. Sandy bay is a few more minutes walk away, just along the road. Palm Beach is a larger, more populated beach, about a ten minute drive away, or 30 minute walk. Palm beach shop can provide you with icecream and restaurant Arcadia available for some lunch and evening meals.It's only a 10-15 minute drive to gorgeous wineries with restaurants such as award wining Casita Miro. Mudbrick, Cable Bay. The Heke is Waiheke's own boutique brewery. Another highly rated restaurant, 372, you'll find at Onetangi Beach, 12 minutes drive away. The stars look better from Waiheke. A light and airy space with all day sun. Two decks allow easy chilling with a cuppa or a glass of wine; one has a view to Oneroa Bay the other one to the back garden (hammock in shed provided). Separate bedroom, own bathroom and kitchen. Smart TV available but surely not necessary with all there is to do on Waiheke :-) The photos are not our best work but hopefully work in progress. We are a kilometer from the main village Oneroa, 2km from the ferry and the closest sandy beach, Little Oneroa, with dairy and takeaways 500m. The property has a kayak which you are welcome to use. Seaviews on Second is a fantastic house a stone's throw from the beach at Onetangi. The large dining and living areas get all day sun and open on to a large sunny deck, ideal for relaxing after a busy day at the beach. With a designer kitchen, a large dining area and a gas fire, as well as 2 living areas, this is a great house for a family break. The kids can have their own space!The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, along with an ensuite. The second bedroom has twin beds, then there is a sofa bed in the lower living room. Across the creek is the sleepout, which has a queen sized bed. Along with the master ensuite there is a family bathroom in the house, note that there is no bathroom in the sleepout.Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, there is plenty of parking - even room for the boat! The sleepout is accessed via a bridge across a stream.A short walk takes you to the cafes on the beach, as well as the award winning restaurant 372, and a bus stop, which has a good round island service. We are right beside the Oneroa shopping area. Waiheke Beach Villa Duplex as it was previously known has a large sun filled deck flowing from the lounge rooms, where you can laze away the days or bask in the sun, watch the ever changing scenery as boats move in and out of the bay, and see holiday makers enjoy the pristine white sand beach of Oneroa Beach. This home is Ideal for big groups, corporates, weddings, family gatherings. It is is actually 2 houses joined together a 3 bed/2 bath and 4 bed/3 bath so ideal for two families wishing to stay together too. sky TV and Free Wifi included. We rent the whole house out as one booking. The Californian King beds can be split into king singles if requested at time of booking. Likewise the two king single beds can be made into a Californian king, they just don't zip together like the other beds do. There is a stainless steel BBQ and two kitchens for your convenience. We trust you enjoy staying at our holiday home as much as we do. Special conditions: Property not securely fenced so please watch your little ones, they could get next door through the hedge both sides, the access way behind the shops beside us has a bit of a drop to the road. We are right beside the action in Oneroa so Friday and Saturday nights can be noisy with the bars and restaurants in the area and over the holiday season too.
