布魯克戴爾斯飯店(Brookdales)

Lovely 2 night stay the weekend before Christmas. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed with fresh home baked goodies left each day. Breakfast was made to order and Christine could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Location close to centre and amenities.

Christine, the Host, was so lovely and accommodating. I had a double room with private bathroom accessible via the landing (there was also a sink in the room itself and robes available) The room was really nicely laid out and had good WiFi. Christine made you feel really at home and there are homemade treats in the room as well as tea and coffee facilities and bottled water. The breakfast was delicious and highly recommend the homemade blinis, sourdough and whisky marmalade. I stayed for three nights and was able to find parking on the street outside the property without issue. I was there for a wedding at Tunnels Beaches literally round the corner and the beach and high street are just a short walk away.

We have stayed in many B&Bs but nothing is quiet like staying at Brookdales. Christine really cares and makes sure you have everything you need. The B&B is very clean, lovely rooms and the best breakfast with lots of choice and Christine puts herself out to meet your dietary needs ... my wife is gluten intolerant Christine made sure she had wonderful a breakfast. Not to mention the home make flapjacks and shortbread. Wonderful stay already book for September.

me & my fiancee stayed for 4 nights & loved everything about the place...christine was like your favourite aunt,she was warm,friendly & we just felt so at home. if you want premier inn then this b&b is not for you! it's a victorian house with 3 guest rooms & we had the 1 with the private (large) bathroom across the hallway. now some people may not like the thought of leaving your room to go to the bathroom but there are robes & slippers provided so was not a problem. there is a outside balcony which i loved to sit out on long after the other half had hit the sack. breakfast was lovely with lots of home made items. my fiancee particularly liked the smoked salmon with blinis & the cooked breakfast was super(sausage & bacon were your top of the range) water bottles replaced daily & every day there was some home made flapjacks or shortbread & on the last day coffee & walnut cake...it's those sweet touches that make you want to return. we came back the 1 day & it had rained & on return she asked if we wanted the heat on! if we return to ilfracombe then we wouldn't stay anywhere else. andy & kelly

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Christine’s lovely B&B. We we made to feel so welcome, it was like a home from home and we really appreciated the yummy treats left in our room! We booked the double room with external bathroom and roof terrace. The bedroom was bright, airy and clean. The bathroom is just a few steps away along the landing, we haven’t stayed anywhere with an external bathroom before but it was fine and we were comfortable popping across the hall to use it. The roof terrace is great for catching the last of the sun in the evening. Our breakfasts were amazing and we brought a jar of Christine's home made marmalade to take home. The B&B is in a great location - it’s a short walk to the town and harbour and Tunnels Beaches is really close. Roadside parking was easy. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place! Against..parking is a nightmare..Rooms could do with an update esp the ensuite For..You will never have a more diverse breakfast selection menu than the one that Christine offers in any b&b in the UK inc veg/vegans Home made bread and marmalade..to die for With that in mind I'm willing to bear with "Against "

Had a lovely stay with Mary, fantastic breakfast and felt right at home from the beginning. She runs this B n B excellently and I could not fault a thing. Very homely feel and beautiful interior. Thanks so much for the stay and looking forward to seeing you again!
