On the morning of check-out, I was still having breakfast at 9 am, and a male waiter came and said that your room needs to be checked out at 10 o'clock. His attitude was very stiff. Then, without confirming with me, he called a car to the airport for us? Very lack of training and courtesy. Overall score: 2/5. Very poor."

"We’ve booked Miombo Mews for 5 nights and never regret! We’ve got 1/2 of the whole house with 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, second floor and terrace. Everything we need was already there, including oven, washing machine and fridge. The hotel provides breakfast at two scenic restaurants, Lockout and Baines with free transfer there and back. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Drinks and some necessary foodstuffs (like pasta, sunflower oil, canned tuna) are available for purchase at the reception at a reasonable price. The only minus - it’s a bit faraway from city centre, so you need either take taxi for $5-$10 or walk around 25 minutes (which is not safe to do at night due to wild animals walking around). However, it’s not that big disadvantage. Our overall impression is great!"

"The reception was very impersonal and very formal. The accommodation is currently being renovated, it looks very good and has good intentions. However, from the guest's point of view there are still some problems with practicality. The hide, which was great in itself, is no longer the absolute highlight, as there are now many watering holes in the area which the animals can get to more easily. However, it is still a great place to enjoy. The hide was not mentioned during the welcome ceremony. See comments below. Staff. Feeling for guests. The staff... well, how should I put it... initiative is not welcome, or they lack experience. After each course of food, the table is cleared away meticulously and with great effort and returned to the kitchen, but the guest waits what feels like half an hour for the next course, and that with 6 guests in the room."
