It's a rundown hotel, but great location. 1 of the 2 elevators was broken all weekend. The pool was not open due to construction. The A/C in the room broke the second night. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby, so that part was good. Bowling alley in the basement is closed. Rooms are very average and the beds were below average. Water pressure was good. Was not worth the $239 price. Closer to a $149 value.
Stayed at this hotel just over a year ago and didn’t have a great experience. Attempted to check in early and was told no, asked for a late checkout on a Sunday and was again told no it was hotel policy no late check out. At 10pm attempted to turn on the tv and it didn’t work, was told it should it’s new and ended up having to justify to the front desk the tv didn’t work. Front desk came to verify and agreed it didn’t work. Had to go down and get key card to a different room because agent was to busy! Fast forward to last weekend, attempted to check in early and was told no without even looking. Came back several hours later and was able to get in a room about 30 minutes early. Clocks didn’t have correct time, 1 part of shower door was off track and stuck, and light didn’t work next to bed. Asked for a late checkout on a Sunday morning and was again told no, can’t do it! The hotel doesn’t understand service and has issues with maintenance and accountability.
