紅屋頂汽車旅館(Red Roof Motor Inn)

This motel is friendly, clean and well maintained. Room was large and recently renovated. The host (Anise) was very welcoming and helpful. We ended up here for a second accommodation as the motel across the street was most unhelpful and old.

Though you will find updated items like new table lamps and clean updated linen and beddings the facilities remain sub par. Water pressure is issue and when guests in other rooms start using water be prepared to get burned (if using hot water with cold) or frozen because both hot and cold water can disappear on you while in shower. Also AC unit is a small window AC so try not to use it as it looked very unreliable and had busted buttons. Overall, I booked it right before I arrived and noticed all the good places around this place were already booked so had no choice hence if you are like me and have no choice this could be the only option for you other wise not a place to book if you are going on a planned trip because they are not worth more than 50bucks a night any day or season. Like most motels in Hope, this place is a bit tired. At $155. it was not a bargain but average. The room was very clean, the bedding crisp, and the shower worked well. The fridge worked (they don't always) and there was adequate space for our stuff. The short walk to the river or downtown is pleasant. There is a busy highway on one side and pretty treed streets of houses on the other. One big BUT. Outside of each room is seating which includes an ashtray. The occupant of the room next to ours had left a burning cigarette in his tray which meant the smoke was wafting into our room. I do not know for sure but think that the law requires smokers to be at least 30' from doorways. This was more like 3'. Not good.

Very clean and well maintained. Bed very comfortable but could use a couple extra pillows.

It was overall clean. The flooring in the room was stained and felt dirty. The place could use and upgrade but was good for staying one night.

Well, for what i paid, i am sorry. It seems to be a family run motel and they are wonderful, however the place is showing it's age, they need to put some funds back into the place.

Worked well for a couple of men traveling through the area.

Very friendly staff. Great Japanese restaurant a short walk away.
