The actual room felt sterile and impersonal, lacking any of the warmth or character shown in the promotional photos. The space had minimal design elements, plain white walls, and none of the decorative touches or nice vibe promised in the listing. Specific Issues 1. Misleading Photography - The advertised images appear to be either heavily edited or from a completely different property. The cozy, warm atmosphere with tasteful decor simply doesn't exist. 2. Extremely Uncomfortable Bed - The mattress was rock-hard, comparable to sleeping on cement. This was genuinely one of the worst beds I've encountered in any accommodation. 3. Hygiene Concerns - The towels provided had hair on them, which is unacceptable from any hospitality establishment. 4. False "City View" Claim - Despite advertising a city view, my window overlooked a metal water tank and corrugated roof tops. There was no cityscape whatsoever. 5. Lack of Design and Atmosphere - Unlike the warm, welcoming spaces in the photos, the actual room felt cold, institutional, and completely devoid of character or comfort. 6. Missing Basic Amenities - There was no face soap provided at the bathroom sink, a basic toiletry one would expect at any hotel. 7. Unacceptable Check-in Experience - I arrived at 3am for a late check-in I had arranged. The front desk attendant was asleep on a couch and wouldn't respond to phone calls. I was forced to stand outside on the street with all my luggage, repeatedly calling the property before anyone finally opened the door. Final Thoughts This property engages in seriously misleading advertising. The gap between the polished, professionally photographed images on Trip.com and the actual bare-bones, uncomfortable reality is enormous. Combined with cleanliness issues and unprofessional service, I cannot recommend this property to anyone. There are many genuine, fairly-priced accommodations in Ho Chi Minh City that deliver what they promise. This is not one of them.
