塔拉別墅(Villa Tara)

Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Die Zimmer sind modern und sehr sauber, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage ist top, mit einigen Restaurants um die Ecke. Der Garten und Pool sind traumhaft und das Hotelpersonal sowie der Gastgeber bei jeder Frage hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Total super schönes kleines Hotel. Es wird einem jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen und erfüllt. Extrem hohe Service Bereitschaft beim gesamten Team! Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem nicht weit vom Strand. Frühstück super und individuell gestaltbar. Sehr empfehlenswert!

We were totally unprepared for the long weekend and booked Villa Tara on the day of arrival after a quick look on the options in Hikka. We had few doubts if this will be upto our expectations, specially since it was a small bit of distance from the main road with a few turns here and there. BUTTT, once we got there, we knew this was the best decision we literally made in our entire tour. Place was super clean, room we were provided with was so spacious and amazing. The pool looked so tempting. It was like a perfect little Oasis in the middle of a desert. Loved it. Our room had three beds, one queen and two singles (very spacious), there was a refrigerator, there were some board games if anyone was interested, outdoor table for dining or a drink overlooking the pool (best part you can hardly see anything out of the villa, hence its your own private space), a set of three towels for each person. The bathroom and toilet next to eachother but separately was not just another bathroom, had a natural touch with the rock flooring. Really great. The pool has separate sun beds and pool towels laid as well. Special thanks to Susil who was the housekeeper, extremely kind and helpful even with tips around the area. Sisira was the person in charge and was also just as good. He handled the reservation inquiry when I first called. Overall, we were literally feeling home vibes and it was more than we asked for. Enjoyed every bit. Thank you Sisira and Susil!

We just got back from a weeks stay here. Really lovely place, super clean, very friendly staff that will go above and beyond. We asked to upgrade rooms and it was no bother at all. The managers family offered to cook a traditional Sri Lanka meal for us which completely blew us away. Outstanding! So lovely and thoughtful ahead of our anniversary. The manager also arranged for tuk tuk and airport taxi. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay!!

I am very happy to say that the same 4 familiar face greeted us as we arrived at the villa. This place is very magical and the perfect place to spend a few days. The Manager here is more than happy to arrange tours and is extremely accommodating and extremely friendly. I stayed in my favourite room with the 2 floors and extremely cosy. The A/C is perfect and makes the room so comfortable when you come back after a day exploring Hikkaduwa. You are literally a very short walk from the beach which is at the bottom of the road. I highly recommend this place if you are staying in Hikkaduwa as you are close enough to everything but away from the main road with some peace and tranquility back at the Villa 🙂☀️

Loved everything! The hotel is clean and the pool was so nice. The bed was comfy and the AC really good. The location is good, just a small walk from the beach and shops and restaurants. The owner and the staff were all so friendly and helpful, such lovely people! We booked the room for one night but ended up extending for three and felt sad to leave. So if you are thinking about booking the place, do it! You won’t regret it :)

This was our second visit to Villa Tara and once again it was a first class experience. A completely chilled out and relaxing stay just a few hundred metres from the heart of Hikkaduwa. Sissera, Susil and the rest of the team were amazing: nothing was too much trouble… they organised our transfers and any tuk-tuk trips into Hikkaduwa. We had the best food of the entire trip right here too as we were treated to a homemade Sri Lankan feast. It was lovely to meet Klaus, the owner, as he was staying for a few months this time. He made sure that we were looked after. We could not recommend this place highly enough for anyone wishing to stay in Hikkaduwa.

This is my 4th time here and I was lucky enough to bump into the owner once again. This time I came to stay as a married man and bought my wife back here and we stayed in the Junior Suite. This is such a magical place and with so much choice you have in Hikkaduwa, this really takes some beating. This is the top end of the price range but is so worth it. I come with an amazing breakfast, attentive staff and just a few yards down the road for the centre. I love this place and always find that I feel at home after 5 minutes of arriving.
