Lovely peaceful farmhouse B&B close to Hexham and Hadrian’s Wall. Elizabeth is a very experienced and friendly host, serving excellent breakfasts, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and very quiet. Slaley has a well-run community pub providing good food, excellent beer and welcoming a**osphere.

We weren't here long- just the one night while we visited friends in nearby Hexham as part of a longer trip. I wish it had been longer. Judging by the adjacent camping facility, it is obviously popular with ramblers and hikers, and I would have loved to have walked a few miles. It is located in a beautiful quiet corner of the country, in an old farmhouse. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. I can recommend it.

Pleasant room with quality touches. Exceptionally clean, hot shower, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast.

I night booked at the campsite next to the farm buildings & B&B - small but very pleasant and wonderfully peaceful. The local countryside views superb. A warm welcome and the small facilities in the buildings for the campers fine. If you like peace & quiet camping, certainly recommended.

Lovely b&b located at a working farm fantastic breakfast and Elizabeth the owner is very welcoming, rooms,are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area .we both had a relaxing and peaceful break and would highly recommend

Just returned from 3 night stay . Everything was very good, pleasant bedroom, comfy bed nicely furnished. Breakfasts very good and well presented. Elizabeth is a very good pleasant host, and nothing is too much trouble for her, always willing to provide information and advice. Good location and great value for money Would definitely stay again

Last minute booking at this wonderful guest house. Host was very accommodating and welcoming on arrival. Double room was a very good size with all the amenities you could need. View from our room was of the farm, which was lovely as we could see playful lambs from our window! Breakfast in the morning was a traditional northern English breakfast which was fantastic. There was also a selection of cereals, fruit and toast. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend

Lovely 2-night stay at Rye Hill Farm. Shortly after arrival, my two children were invited to help bottle-feeding the lambs, which was a lovely unexpected treat and made their day. The room was spacious and spotless, beautiful views and comfy beds, and a bonus to be able to get Netflix on the TV after a long day's adventuring. Perfect base for exploring Slaley, Hexham and Corbridge. We visited the Roman ruins on the recommendation of our host and were not disappointed. Breakfast was delicious. Hopefully we'll be back :-)

A nice place to stay when playing golf at slaney Hall and just about 20minutes to Hexham full breakfast very nice people
