We are a couple, stayed for two nights for a birthday after an exceptional stay at Six Sense in Thailand. Unacceptable room cleanliness: Water in the shower had a metallic odor, handheld shower head from untreated bronze left a metal residue. There was a running shower gel container above the bath when we got there, I hope it wasn’t a leftover from previous guest. Stains, bed frame leather had huge, visible, dry, historical wine stains which were clearly not treated, these were not fresh stains to be clear, it just seems like they didn’t make an effort to treat the leather. Service: Breakfast was a complete disaster, a couple next to us left after their eggs haven’t arrived after 30 minutes, in our second morning our drinks never arrived… Room service/house keeping: Clearly a weak point, we had to call twice for extra towels, they brought 2 instead of 4 when they did arrive, took 30 minutes from the second call. Unpleasant Check-in: Checkin was not inviting, we received a rushed tour that included pointing in general directions and statements such as "there is no need to get out of the cart, you can see this later", we were asked multiple times wether we have booked certain activities but there was no explanation about said services even that we asked. You would be wise to avoid this place until there is a material management change, there are plenty top hotels to pick from in this beautiful country who better understand hosting and providing unforgettable experiences.
