The property is very run down: weeds growing profusely in front of the windows, broken and dirty AC vents on outside of building, no handicapped hands-free entry door, windows that are truly shot — opaque and yellowed. You literally can’t see through them! No lobby other than registration desk and bare bones breakfast area. Only ice machine in an alcove on first floor…and it reluctantly and slowly spat out a cup of ice every few minutes. Rooms okay, but dated. We had to move a heavy desk to plug in the desk lamp and coffee pot. Did I mention the overflowing dumpster by the front door, with the screening doors hanging open and off their hinges? If we didn’t have a reservation we could cancel, we would have left immediately. Oh! And there is no remaining restaurant in New Stanton. We had to drive seven miles to another town for dinner. As frequent business travelers, this simply doesn’t cut it. This hotel undercuts the Wyndham brand. It appears to be an old Quality Inn. Two thumbs down.
