英國中心 - 北安普頓馬斯頓旅館(Heart of England, Northampton by Marston's Inns)

Not the greatest pub! Arrived to no one managing the reception area all staff were sat round a table chatting as pub was empty at 3.30pm! On a Saturday afternoon Room was ok basic, bed was comfy though. Went down to eat at 5pm again pub was empty. Staff need to re retrained! We were just pointed to our table and after a 10 minute wait I had to go back up and ask for a menu! Now for the food don’t even bother eating! tasted just like a microwave meal from Tesco! Very disappointing was really looking forward to some pub grub but it was just awful and tasteless! Staff just don’t seem to care they just want to sit round talking We will not be returning and will not be recommending to friend and family

Dont bother. Should have realised by how few diners there were on a Friday evening. No ice for drinks. Starter arrived after 45 minutes, chicken wings, in a bowl. Waiter apologised no lettuce, or garnish, they had run out. (Pub is next door to tesco). Main course finally arrived, very poor. Forgot onion rings, we were told chef didn't see them on order. Overall, £50 for very poor food. Pub run down, staff couldn't care less, DOBT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Stayed here on a Sunday night after arriving from New Zealand same day. Great service, food and accomodation all round. Bed super comfortable and great shower. A very relaxing and welcoming little pub that was a perfect start to our holiday

Well it was OK till I received a phone call from heart of England pub that I had taken the key with me and left all my stuff in the room. I told the manageress that I would be back in 2hours s I was fishing in Warwick but the needed the key. I have a email to say that my stay was updated to one extra night in March 24th I was staying in May so plenty of time was given. I was given the option of staying in a room designed for three the would put a mattress on the floor. I was to feel it was my problem and I have all emails regarding the stay to say regarding the price and I was told I did not pay enough so what now there's a hotel further down road the might have room enough said for now just waiting for the manager to contact me now but don't think that will every happen wait till next week??

We were going to a wedding so arrived for lunch - delicious. Very easy to check in. On return from our do we were able to let ourselves into the building very easily. Our room was ver clean room with plenty of tea and coffee, always a bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staying the night for a business meeting early tomorrow; very helpful and pleasant staff. I ordered BBQ cauliflower wings salad and fries. Cauliflower wings fine, if tasteless; but the salad which says it boasts "mixed leaves,quinoa, soya beans, brown rice tossed in a French dressing and topped with crispy onions" was the worst, most basic 1970's pub grub s%*t I have had the misfortune to order. No mixed leaves just a plateful of Iceberg lettuce; yes to under ripe tomato, red onion and red pepper, but the rest was absent. To be fair to the young man behind the bar he did inform me quinoa was off the menu, but not more than half the salad. The staff just looked embarassed when I brought the rubbish salad to their attention - maybe I'm not the first?

Average. It was a bed and some breakfast. No frills. Greeted by a scruffy chef smoking at the main entrance. Not great. Needed a blind in the bathroom which they said had been mentioned by others before? Staff were sat in the bar using it as an office.

Run down pub, over cooked food, half chicken size of pidgeon, left in deep fat fryer to long that meat dried out. Steak over seared that it tasted burnt. Sorry wont be back as a terrible meak in a dingy pub.

What another great night yet again the staff just go above and beyond to pull these nights off and make them child friendly they always have a good turnout looking forward the Cher next month and the month after for the Micheal Jackson……………..
