夏田樓飯店(Summerfields House)

J'ai occupée la chambre " hedgerow", avec la salle de bain séparée. Elle se trouve à l'étage. Les hôtes sont très accueillants. Le petit déjeuné à l'anglaise est bon, très copieux si on prend tout, et est très digeste. Il se prend dans une véranda très agréable, donnant sur le jardin, où il y avait un chat trop mignon. On peut choisir son thé parmi une vaste sélection. Pour les intolérants au lactose, ils proposent de la boisson de soja, à la place du lait de vache. La maison est située dans une zone calme et boisée. La télé fonctionne bien, la douche aussi où l'eau chaude arrive vite. Pour ce qui est de la propreté je suis plus mitigée. L'essentiel, c'est à dire la lingerie et les sanitaires, étaient propres et désinfectés. Par contre, certains équipements sont assez vétustes et/ou sales. Il y avait des toiles d'araignées à ma fenêtre, ainsi que derrière les tables de chevet. Du tarte se trouvait sur le pommeau de douche. Le store de la fenêtre de la salle de bain était assez sale, avec une araignée morte sur le rebord (heureusement, je ne suis pas arachnophobe!). Le lit était un peu trop dur à mon goût, on sent les ressorts. La télécommande était sale également. Je préfère être honnête sur ces points là, afin que les hôtes puissent y apporter des améliorations. Le vieux Hastings est à 15 minutes de marche, en descendant la rue. Un Lidl se trouve à 3 minutes à pied de la maison. J'ai passé un agréable séjour à Hastings et recommande cette endroit.

A lovely B&B set back from the A21 with wonderful views of the countryside. The room was tastefully decorated and had everything you could need: comfy bed, tea/coffee making facilities, tv, hairdryer, soap & shampoo in the ensuite. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and kept us going way past lunchtime! The property is situated midway between St Leonards and the centre of Hastings - good walks to be had, but be aware it is hilly. A lovely relaxing stay - Ian and Fiona are excellent hosts - will definitely return.

Beautiful house in serene gardens close to all amenities whilst also giving you a feeling of being in the countryside as the house is set right back off the road up a private drive within huge grounds overlooking woodland, no traffic noise whatsoever. Room was really lovely and the beds everso comfy. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming plus told us some interesting historical facts about the area. Breakfast was one of the best we have eaten. We had a wonderful few days and definitely will be back at some point. We was made to feel at home for the duration of our short break. We 100% recommend Summerfields House.

Stayed in a twin room with my mother the bedroom was perfect very tidy the hosts where very welcoming would definitely recommend to friends and family I would recommend having breakfast perfect food 100% will be coming back in the future Thankyou for taking care of us

Thank you to Ian & fiona for being so friendly and welcoming. And hedgerows bedroom and bathroom was lovely slept well. A breakfast to die for made by fiona if we are ever back in hasting we will book to stay again from Dawn & Kevin Butcher

Spent 2 nights here. Very nice place. Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean & comfortable, though be aware our room didn't have an en-suite, but had a private bathroom. Pleasant owners. Will stay there again.

Thankyou Ian and Fiona for a lovely stay. I stayed in the Hedegrows Room which had its own private beautiful bathroom. Both days I had breakfast it was delicious with great orange juice and range of cereals. Easy to get to from the sea or from town, but positioned far enough away to be quiet. My wife and I have stayed in many Guesthouses/Hotels, But I have to say we have never been made to feel so welcome and special as we did at Summerfields House. We stayed for three in a very spacious room overlooking the gardens. The room was clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly on a room! The booking included breakfast in the light airy dining room overlooking the gardens. The full English breakfast was the best we have ever experienced, quality food and cooked to perfection...such a real treat ! Our hosts were very helpful and attentive, just lovely people who could not do enough for us. Our car was parked up inside security gates safe & sound but we had access to come and go as we pleased. Summerfields House is situated close to All attractions and seafront, it was a wonderful experience and such good value for money, we can't wait to revisit !

Fiona and Ian very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Good location to walk into town if you don’t mind hills - we don’t! Nice and clean and comfortable 😊
