加尼克里斯蒂倫賀夫歷史飯店(Historik Hotel Garni Christinenhof)

Ein familiengeführtes Hotel, zentral gelegen. Inhaber und Angestellte waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und hatten eine Minibar. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich. Jeden morgen wurden wir gefragt wie wir unsere Eier wollten und sie wurden dann individuell frisch zubereitet genau nach Wunsch des Gastes. Außerdem befand sich im Hotel ein kleines Schwimmbecken, mit Gegenstromanlage und eine Sauna. Bademäntel und Badeschlappen sind im Hotel erhältlich. Jeder Zeit wieder. Sowas habe ich lange nicht erlebt.

Großes Zimmer und schönes Bad mit Fenster. Da es in der Nacht von Freitag auf Samstag ruhig in den Straßen war, konnte man auch das Fenster offen lassen. Wegen Corona hab es kein Frühstücksbuffet sondern man hat seine Wünsche über einer Liste bestellt. Qualität der Speisen waren top. Und auch das Konzept dahinter gefällt mir gut: viele regionale Lieferanten und einiges selbst gemacht (Honig, Fruchtaufstrich)

Met familie een weekje in dit hotel doorgebracht. Prettig en vriendelijk personeel. Zeldzaam uitgebreid ontbijt, mooie kamers en midden in het authentieke centrum en gratis parkeren bij het hotel. Aanrader!

Zeer proper, zeer vriendelijke mensen, zeer goed ontbijt. Alles zoals verwacht, rustig om te slapen.

Christinenhof is located in the middle of Hamlens old town, to get there you have to drive through narrow alleys but it is not hard to find. We arrived late in the afternoon on Whitday and got a warm welcome at the front desk. German efficiency, so in ten minutes the car was parked, we had a map of the city and the "Rattenfänger" fairy tale (in brief) in Swedish in our hands. We were lucky and got the Hochzeitszimmer (no 28), a well-furnished corner-room overlooking a picturesque streetcorner with halftimbered houses along the alleys. We went out for a walk in Hamelns old town and it was so nice. The old part of the town underwent a restoration in the eighties and nineties and is full of halftimbered houses, lots of references to the Rattenfänger fairytale and historical events. Off course there is a Glockenspiel and you can cross the Weser river to a small island and enjoy good food, wine and beer in one of the outdoor restaurants. We had a wonderful evening and the next morning we enjoyed the breakfast that included honey from the owners private behive, homemade yoghurt, leberwurst (also homemade). All through it was german hospitality and friendliness. Be sure to visit Hameln and when you go there, stay at Christinenhof!

The staff were just so nice, lovely place.

Virtually all of the historical points of interest as well as dozens of great restaurants are within a few minutes walk from the front door. Rooms were quiet and high quality. My room on the third floor had plenty of space. The breakfast was 4-star (a buffet of varied items such as devilled eggs, smoked fish rolls, sausage and they offed eggs to order as well). The staff could not have been more helpful. For the modest rates it is a steal. Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was beautiful and in a great location. We loved the look and feel of the hotel. Near the train station, Hameln felt like a normal city, but this hotel and the old town feels like what you envision Hameln should be. I was looking forward to this visit, and it exceeded all my expectations. And the breakfast at the hotel was incredible. Definitely make sure to eat there.
