吉爾福德莊園飯店及Spa(Guildford Manor Hotel & Spa)

Great place to visit with good food and sevice.but missing small things stand out dramatically. A lovely smart dining room with jam jars for flower pots and single serve sachets where a ramekin would be more appropriate. Bar shuts too early and hope you like lots of stairs.lovely shower but don't try to have a bath unless you want to fill it using the shower head . Bath flow switch missing. Poor quality towels in beautifully decorated bathroom. This place is so close to been perfect but let's itself down in the strangest of ways.

A fascinating place on the outskirts of town. Played down its virtues - quiet, very clean, staff pleasant. Could have given more information about the facilities, and the environs, walks etc.

Stayed here while visiting my son the Hotel was beautiful with lovely grounds surrounding it , we booked the executive suite it was very spacious, nicely decorated , bed extremely comfortable, bathroom was nice , a small criticism on arrival when looking around the room I noticed the taps had splash marks dried onto them but once I cleaned them they was sparkling ( I do have OCD) the spa facilities was fabulous had a great swim, sauna and jacuzzi we didn’t book any trea**ents so I cannot comment on this area. We didn’t eat in the restaurant or book breakfast so can’t comment on this area either. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff always happy to help and very friendly We had a lovely time and would certainly book again .

One night stay with my wife, the overall upgrade of the hotel from previous is quite impressive and looks very good, although signage to reception /car park lacks and quite a few steps to overcome to get there with any bags... Room 55 is rather small for a couple approx 3.5mx 4.5m with quite a draught from skylight window, shame on our vanity tray the hotel could only push to one biscuit for us both. During the time the swimming pool is open the noise is quite loud in the room, when not open....you can listen the the tranquil music from the trea**ent room next door! The bathroom rather small and cramped, if your sat on the loo almost impossible to turn and get loo paper roll which has to be randomly left on side of sink as no room for holder, I have to question how safe the electric switched fuse spur is above the sink vanity unit in this space?

My partner and I had a lovely stay . The staff where lovely and helpful and polite . We only had a short stay of1 night but they let us check in early as the room was ready which was a treat . The spa facilities where lovely and our room was a lovely surprise as we had room 34 which was at the end of the corridor on 2nd floor and we felt privileged to have such a beautiful room with amazing views both sides of the building and to wake up and see the deer in the park was an absolute treat . We would definitely come back again !

This was just an overnight stay following a wedding we attended earlier in the day so in reality we didn’t spend much time here. We booked a double room which felt really small. Luckily we had just one suitcase . Anymore would have caused a storage issue. The room was above the pool so it was absolutely boiling when we arrived and felt most oppressive. The only window was a Velux window in the ceiling which was only accessible by standing on the bed which may not suit everyone. Breakfast was most disappointing. The options of cooked breakfast was fine. However there was no cereal, porridge or lighter breakfast items available which really lets down a hotel of this supposed calibre. At £15 per person it is very poor value for money compared to others.
